23rd of November 2010

On a press conferance in Wien, a new cycling team is announced to be started. The team leaders talked for several hours about what they wanted to do with the new Austrian, Swizz and French project that was about to start.

"We want to develop riders from the Alpes and surrounding areas into stars and we want to show that a team with young riders can prove themselves. We have no intention of becoming a Pro Tour team, and we will focus mostly on French, Swizz and Austrian races. And now to announce some riders!"

The journalists leant forward when four young men walked up on the stage.

"The first cyclist we can proudly announce is:"

Peter Erdin, 20 years Switzerland

Stats will come after the report from GP la Marseillaise!

And one question, my team has Cofidis jerseys? And if someone could someone make a jersey I would be really thankful!

Two of the teams captains are the Swizz brothers Marcel Wyss and Danilo Wyss!

Danilo:

Marcel
i1137.photobucket.com/albums/n509/ASchleck/Marcel_Wyss1.jpg

They also represented the team in our first race of the year: GP la Marseillaise. This race is mostly flat with many small hills spread over the stage. Danilo Wyss was our captain today as he is the best sprinter in the squad.

Squad:

We managed to slip Vichot (Green helmet) into todays breakaway:
i1137.photobucket.com/albums/n509/ASchleck/vichotbreak.jpg

With 10 kilometres left, Vichot left his breakaway companions just as the peloton was about to catch them, meanwhile Marcel tried to find his brother a good wheel to follow in the pack.
i1137.photobucket.com/albums/n509/ASchleck/vichotattack.jpg

Bauer, Vichot and Veilleux in front with 5 kilometres to the finish line!
i1137.photobucket.com/albums/n509/ASchleck/vichveibau.jpg

The sprinters wouldnt let them win and they were caught as the sprint started. Wyss had nothing to give in the sprint and in the end it was Mondory from AG2R who won!
i1137.photobucket.com/albums/n509/ASchleck/mondoryvic.jpg

Name
1. Lloyd Mondory
2. Bobbie Traksel
3. Jonas Vangenechten
4. Jimmy Casper
5. Samuel Dumoulin
6. Adrián Palomares
7. René Weissinger
8. Bert De Waele
9. Robert Förster
10. Yukiya Arashiro
..........................
16. Danilo Wyss

A little bit dissapointing, but we know our riders are not in great shape...

Etoile de Besseges

A dissapointng race for the team where Danilo Wyss' 12th place on the first stage and Alexandre Geniez' 3rd overall in the u25 classification was our best result.

Our next race is the french two-day-tour Tour du Haut Var.
We can also announce that we've found a promising young Austrian puncher, we will follow him closely.

Very nice team. Not too good and all riders based in the same region. Looking forward to follow this.

Thank you, I was inspired by Kissahas' story with riders from just one area, there will be no more reports today though Sad
