It happened on my second season. I guess the AI doesn´t give a damn about sponsor priorities... is there a way around this? I mean, can you edit something to prevent Euskaltel from signing riders other than basque ones? |

you could try to either edit the nationality-factor or simply move to a team that's more realistic if you feel like it. It can all be done in Lachis Editor. |

I had Mark Cavendish join Euskaltel aswell. Not verry realistic, and they suck at making a train for him

You can change it in the editor and "transfer" Schleck to another team.
Teams have nationality factors, that indicate how strongly teams value riders from certain counties. If I recall correctly, Euskaltel's is as high as possible, but this still doesn't prevent them from signing riders like Schleck, Cavendish, etc. As far as I know, there is no way to stop this from happening. |

Henao, le Mevel and Hoste to CCC Polsat, Eisel to Miche, Swift to Europcar, Popovych to Spider Tech...
To be honest I think it makes the game funnier! |

In one of my games, I had Damiano Cunego, Chris Horner and Van Garderen go to Atlas-Personal, Kreuziger to Endura, and pettachi to team Netapp, kind of mixes the game up a bit I guess

Clicking from the front page, I thought this was in the Stories section... I was really worried there. |

I've got no problem with leaders signing with other teams and the world looking completely different two years after the start of the game, but I think there should really be a setting to stop teams from signing any rider not from their nationality.
But again, is there any other team than Euskatel that would use such a setting? Maybe it's really low on Cyanide feature list because of that... |

There is such setting. It just doesn't stop Euskaltel from signing other riders though.

I know there is a preference setting, but not one that *stops* them from signing such riders.
Telling me that the setting I want is in the game, but then telling me it does not do what I want, is the same as telling me that there is no setting in the game that does what I want |

The setting does what it is supposed to, but if the team cannot find a decent rider, they will take whatever is available. So the problem is rather, that the other teams don't sign Andy but maybe the all have their team together already. |
