As I am currently enjoying a stage race with Europcar, I have decided that this team will be the team for my story.
I love the French teams and after I done an FDJ stroy last year, I thought a new French team won't do any harm.
I will be starting the story when the final version of the PCMdaily expansion pack.
I would like to say:
Thank you to everyone who has given up their time in making the DB, it's brilliant and the stats make the game very very enjoyable. Brilliant job

Thomas Voeckler
Voeckler, team leader and a fighter. Thomas Voecker has had a career of highights, with more famous ones in takiing the Yellow Jersey in the 2004 Tour de France and holding it for 10 days. Also Thomas Voeckler is the current French National Champion. We hope that Voeckler can take stage wins the major French races especially the Tour de France.
Pierre Rolland
A very talented young French climber, Rolland has shown he can climb in the past but has never really believed he can become a top climber in the sport. He better start believing as we hope Rolland can take a top 10 in GC for Tour de France and be the best Frenchman overall.
Sebastian Chavenal
Chavenal has proved he can sprint over the years, but now he is getting on can he still compete with the new breed of sprinters, Cavendish, Farrar. This season he will have 2 very capable sprinters to help in Arashiro and Turgot. We hope he can push for a stage win the major French races and bring home some wins in the Continental races.
Cyril Gautier
Gautier showed in last years Tour de France that he is a very attack minded rider, we hope he can continue this in this years Tour aswell as possibly helping Rolland in the mountains. Gautier will be by the side of both Voeckler and Rolland for pretty much the whole of this season offering his best efforts to support them. Gautier is a fabulous young climber who we hope will improve to push for overall GC in major grand tours.
David Veilleux
David has the potential to become a good classics rider, this season we hope we can give him a taster of some of the major classics to help him to improve. Veilleux is the next big thing to come out of Canada, although a different type of rider to Canada's other top cyclist Ryder Hesjedal, we hope he can be just as successful if not more.

I will no doubt give it my best shot, it would be nice to take yellow and hold this jersey, it would help the team become the most successful French team this season.

That will be very tough, it would be nice to get Rolland on the podium but the best young riders jersey and a top 10 finish is more realistic, lets hope the rest of the team will be in shape to help him.

As you can see there are soem sprinters capable of turning in a fast sprint, we have Skil's Marcel Kittel, Netapp's newest recruit Daryl Impey and of course Europcar's Yukiya Arashiro.
Today's break was a large group which included some very good rider's. These are Van Staeyen, Cardoso, Mangel, Menzies, Thomel, Baranov, Kuapas, Lechuga, Dietziker, Erviti and Sousa.
The break was caught with 10km to go, a close on, now onto the sprint. Today's sprint was fast and spread out all other the road, but it was Arashiro for Europcar who will grab the new sponsors first ever win. Followed by Impey in a close 2nd ahead of Traksel.

Stage 2
Today's stage features a hilly finish, this will suit a punchy rider as the final hill ramps upto 13% gradeint in parts. Europcar sprinter Yukiya Arashiro will be expected to lose his jersey today.
Like on stage 1 the break was another large group, it contained, Huzarski, Antonov, Menzies for a second time, Muraglia, Scheirlinckx, Pardilla, Rabottini, Ospina, Bernabeu, Gilbert, Forberger, Coenen.
Europcar along with Landbouwkrediet shared the work on the front of the peleton, these were thinking about their leaders Kern and Traksel.
On the base of the final climb, Kern upped the pace and surprisingly giving the talent on offer no one followed.
He was later followed by Traksel further up the climb but he was some way off.
Skil Shimano's Simon Getschke followed behind Traksel, he had work to do to get onto his wheel.
A comfortable win for Christophe Kern, he was the strongest man today and time gap shows that, Bobbie Traksel came home in 2nd somewhat 2mins 51 seconds down with Simon Getschke in 3rd 3mins 1 second down on Kern and 10 seconds down on Traksel.
