Le Tour de France 2011
Stage 20: Grenoble > Grenoble 42.5km
Stage Information (from cyclingnews.com)
In recent seasons, the yellow jersey has still been up for grabs going into the final time trial. If that's the case again, this course could prove an inspired choice. anyone who's got some significant strength left in their legs will feature today. The rolling course, which includes the opening part of the climb to chamrousse, won't overly favour time trial specialists such as Fabian Cancellara, but will appeal to the likes of the Schleck brothers, who should be able to take some advantage of their prowess on the hills. The podium places will finally be settled today.

Well Cadel can win 57 seconds here, he has the abilities. Real question is will he? I have my doubts but given this rather small difference it's wide open.

Hopefully Evans.
But Voeckler will most likely finish in top 5. I can't be unhappy after this Tour.

Contador will grab 3rd, between Evans and Andy it's a real coin flip, going to be a matter of seconds. |

We might have a latestarter as stage winner. The weather forecast says rain to around 14 o'clock, sun from then. Would be nice to see Evans win the stage, hopefully he can let it all go tomorrow, riding an important TT on full speed. |

This is going to be so close. Well all know that yellow jersey can make even a poor TT'er like Andy Schleck riding like a man possesed. 50/50 Evans&Andy's chances for 2morrow |

Yeah it's very difficult. I don't know who I dislike more. Evans or Andy.

Yeah? You are so sure? As much as I like Voeckler, he will be lucky to finish 6th or 7th. |

Lucky to be 6th? After a closer look at the standings, I think that's where he will be. Definitely Contador and probably Sanchez will overtake him, but that's about it.

I think Evans doesnt deserve to win , ok he rides very well when he has too , but today he just followed , its like he never attacks , it's just opinion but i don't find Evans a worthy winner of the TDF which he is probably going to win.

Yesterday, on the stage 19 thread, I predicted Andy to win overall by 3 seconds. I shall stick by that comment.
However, the fanboy inside of me screams "EVANNNNSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" |
