Le Tour de France 2011
Stage 8: Aigurande > Super-Besse Sancy 189km
Stage Info (from cyclingnews.com)
This stage joins two towns also linked in the 2008 Tour. The route between them is slightly different, though, with the cat 2 Col de Croix Saint-Robert providing a stiff test prior to the final climb up to the ski resort of Super-Besse. Three years ago, Riccardo Riccò led the field home while Stefan Schumacher lost the yellow jersey after crashing in the final charge to the hill-top finish. Neither, of course, will race this year, but the yellow jersey could still change hands. The final ramps are steep enough to split the field and to ensure all the yellow jersey favourites will be working hard.

The two riders who won here in 2008 are suspended for doping right now, that would make for a good fun fact of the day.
I nominate a breakaway to make it to the finish. For my fantasy team's sake, I hope Tommeh is there..

I can bet my all PCM$, that Chavanel will be in a breakaway tomorrow. He was in break' in 2008, when the stage finished in Super-Besse and he also was in break' last year when stage finished in Station des Rousses. |

Yeah, but he is injured if im not wrong. So im still twisted about him managing to get into the break.

I think it`s time for Vinokourov or Cunego..why not Sammy Sanchez..
Can anyone tell me who is the first rider, who finished in top 10 in all 3 GT (Giro,Tour,Vuelta) in one season
Rest in Peace, Wouter Weylandt.
Rest in Peace, Xavier Tondo

Geriant Thomas, Johny Hoogerland, Thomas de Gendt or Slyvain Chavenel will win this stage it's just made for a breakaway IMO. |

Hope Vinokourov!
But i think Contador, if its all together at the last climb. If breakaway, could be a rider like Uran or Voeckler. |
