There is a new Stat Gains file: https://www.mediafire.com/?cr58hiack8d...iack8di504
The Fighter option has been improved
A Classics option has been added - focusing in on a combination of Cobbles and Hills
A 2nd version of the Climber option has been added, removing any time trial gain in favour of a bit more Stamina.
(Thanks to Rjc for these additions)
The XP gaining system remains the same
Spoiler
Gaining in Level 1
Grand Tours/Monuments = 0 xp per race day
ProTour = 0 xp per race day
Continental = 3 xp per race day
Gaining in Level 2
Grand Tours/Monuments = 0 xp per race day
ProTour = 1 xp per race day
Continental = 2 xp per race day
Gaining in Level 3
Grand Tours/Monuments = 1 xp per race day
ProTour = 2 xp per race day
Continental = 1 xp per race day
Gaining in Level 4
Grand Tours/Monuments = 2 xp per race day
ProTour = 1 xp per race day
Continental = 0 xp per race day
Exemption from this system are the non-rankings events, Tour de l'Avenir will give a total of 20 xp from it's 10 race days, while the Criterium Series has its own system as mentioned in its thread.
Training has also been slightly altered. Same price for most, but those with an average of 70 or less have it cheaper. Remember though, only fully maxed (i.e. 4.100) riders can be trained this way.
Spoiler AVG or STAT | Price for 1 Stat up | 85 | 2,000,000 | 84 | 1,800,000 | 83 | 1,600,000 | 82 | 1,400,000 | 81 | 1,200,000 | 80 | 1,000,000 | 79 | 900,000 | 78 | 800,000 | 77 | 700,000 | 76 | 600,000 | 75 | 500,000 | 74 | 450,000 | 73 | 400,000 | 72 | 350,000 | 71 | 300,000 | 70 | 250,000 | 69 | 200,000 | 68 | 175,000 | 67 | 150,000 | 66 | 125,000 | 65 or under | 100,000 |
Two examples to show how it works:
76 Hill > 77 Hill with Average 80. Cost is 1,000,000
76 Hill > 77 Hill with Average 74. Cost is 700,000
Also, as mentioned by Rjc there is a change to the speed of progression. Here it is in his words:
There has been a change to stat increases.
It has been said. Let no man say otherwise.
Instead of another Madrazo situation (which I, personally, had no problem with), where a rider goes from level 3 to maximum in a season, there has been a limit placed on amount of increases in experience that can be undergone in one season.
There is NO limit going from 1.XX to 3.99.
You cannot go from 2.XX to 4.00+ in one season.
You can go from 2.XX to 3.99 in a season.
You cannot go from 3.XX to 4.100 in one season.
You can go from 3.XX to 4.99 in a season.
In other words, you can get a talent from 1.00 up two levels, but you can't get a level 2.00 up two levels. Or a 3.00 to maximum in a season. This is to prevent an unrealistic mad increase in stats of a rider.

Is there still a age-limit of who can be trained? I believe it was only riders born 1981 and later last season who could be trained.

So for a rider to go from 82 to 83 would cost 1,6mio?

Also, it's now impossible to go from 3.00 to 4.100 in one season. Does this apply to any rider in the 3.00 - 3.99 interval or is 3.00 the breaking point?

I think he would like to know when a rider has 3.01 to 3.99 at the start of the season, if this rider won't able to get to 4.100 at the end of this season

Yeah it does, you can go from 3.00=>4.99 but only from 3.99=>4.99.

What I was asking was if it's only impossible to go from exactly 3.00 to 4.100 or if you couldn't go from (for example) 3.60 to 4.100 either.

Id have thought it fairly obvious that the answer to that is no - why would we bring in the rule otherwise? The first post has now been edited to clarify

In the stats gain file, it says that as sprinters for from 74-76 their resistance jumps up.
Is that meant to say recovery?

A couple questions.
What average do we go by when calculating training costs? For example If I have a rider at 70.4 average is he a 70 average rider and on the flipside a 70.6 rider would be a 71 rider? Or is the rider not a 71 until he hits 71.0?
My second question is dependent upon the answer to the above.

You round up/down. So 70.4 is 70, 70.6 is 71.

question 2 is more of a scenario: if I train an averge 70.4 rider who has a 75 flat to 76 flat, which ups his avg to 70.6 and then train his stamina from 68-69, do I calculate the second training cost as a 71 as opposed to a 70?
Or is the 68-69 calculated from the average in the db?

If you train a single stat, you then have to calculate future training based on what that training does - to average or to single stats.
