After recently playing i saw cavendish win 9 stages at the TdF(I wasnt HTC). So It got me thinking. Have any of you broken the archive records? Armstrongs? Merckx? Zabel? Post it here cause im interested to know. |

In my Quick-Step career, I managed to get 10 stage victories in one TDF with Boonen, a total of 44 victories in all his Tours and won the green jersey 6 times. He won the Ronde van Vlaanderen 9 times and Paris-Roubaix 10 times and became World Champion 3 times. So he's the greatest rider I had in my team, too bad he retired at the end of 2016.
Mollema won the Giro 5 times and he's still at his top level, so it could become 6 times.
Seeldraeyers allready won the Vuelta 3 times, he's now 30 years old, so he should be able to get another overall victory this year as I'm still playing (2017 by now).
Cycling isn't a sport, it's a passion.

with fdj on hard in 2013 i hired contador for just 1 season (and his stats suddendly started to decrrease), winning 3gts + 2WCs, thus breaking the 3gt, triple crown, gt stage winner and double world champion in one single season. then i let him go to saxo bank. |

I play with a fantasy team: First Year the ardenne Triple with Gilbert, Total Giro Diminance (weak field, Niblai crashed out and Basso wasnt participating for no particular reason) with Kirchen and the Tour Dominance with Andy Schleck as there were no good sprinters in the field and in the mountains it was 3 riders who battled it out being A.Schleck, Sanchez and Menchov...
Contador fell during the Dauphinee Libre

In the the year 2012 and contadir(AI) pulled off the triple GTs. Worst thing is I came second to him in all 3. His 85mt and 85tt are impossible to beat. It's those darn 60km ITTs. Contador is also only 2 wins behind Lance Armstrong. I think i need to sign him. |

I dont think I have the picture to prove myself left on the computer. But in the 2010 Vuelta, Gilbert come in as 5 or 6. I was playing with Sky. It was a pretty weak field. I think I came 11 with John-Lee Augustyn. Nibali and Gesink dominated the race. Gilbert took the leaders jersey early and did keep it to Stage 15 Lagos de Covadonga. Lost a lot of time in stage 16. Did a good TT in stage 17 and won stage 19 in a long breakaway. Won with 10min. |

I finished 14th overall with Gerald Ciolek in La Vuelta on my old Quickstep save, it was a weak field too.

Over 40 stage wins with the same rider in the Vuelta between 2013 and 2019. Was a scouted rider, good stage racer with high hill, MO, TT and just above 70 in SP.
Considering the usual weak field in the Vuelta, that's not so good. Also, he won all the races.

@Baia you have some time on your hands if can get to 2025. Best I ever got is 2017, with Astana. (But once you get to that far into the game all the scouted riders make the game unrealistic and the career is no longer fun for me.

so in 2025 the best riders in the world will be costa rican and algerian
and to think, i'm currently in august of my first season and it's the furthest i've ever gotten.
surely you must skip most of your races to get that far, or else have no life other then PCM! |
