This race has it all! A great startlist, mountains, hills and a stage for the sprinters. Greipel is the fastest man here, but Guerao and Giaux, among others will surely challenge that stage. Among the GC contestants, Taaramae and Alarcon are big favourites and their team is the same! IKEA has a very strong team, right here. López Garcia, Cataldo, Evans and Samwel are also strong favourites and there are some outsiders like Carrara and Petrov. In paper, we'll have a strong race. Let's see how it unfolds.

Hope Bosisio can deliver a minimum Top 10 here.

Smowz
Interesting that Alarcon has been placed in a 'team leaders' role - though that can be flexible - outside of the Ikea riders Taaramae and Alarcon there is not a lot of difference in the riders. Bososio for example should be pretty much as strong as Carrara - just 4 stages could give a team great value!

Go away Alarcon!!!

Hope Eltink and Hoogerland can cooperate like they did in Ringerike GP maybe we can get a good result then.

Christer
6th! Woo!

Nice promising start by Cataldo and Tiernan-Locke getting in the break, pity Ikea are in force again here.

Eltink is still in a good position for a great GC place. Hope he doesn´t loose to much time in the hills on stage 2 and then showed a good form in the mountain on stage 3!

Yeah, thanks for the loan Grin

If Samwel passes this hilly stage without losing time, the victory is possible. But Alarcon/Taraamae duet is so dangerous ...

Please assume I am joking unless otherwise stated

Nice to see someone taking it to IKEA, this should make for a good race (even if Evans is going to get smoked).

Smowz
Trying to think who screwed up most from those first two barmy stages.

The names Bososio and Petrov come to mind Smile

SportingNonsense
Nice to see a Qatar rider taking victory! And the GC is all very well poised ahead of the big mountain stage, should be good

Not too bad stage for Bbox. I like it!

Good by Theo to earn some seconds on other GC riders.
Hope he has a good day form on the next stage!

Oooh...good try from Cassidy. Should've saved a bit of energy in the intermediates it seems.

Smowz
Awesome power from Alarcon, unlucky pangare!
