What is the most surprising signing you have seen?

HI.
Since my other thread about your best signing seems to be quite a success (according to me) I thought I would follow up with something similar.
What is the strangest signing you have seen any of the other teams do? Did Joker - Bianchi sign Contador? Or have you seen HTC Columbia sign both Farrar and Hushovd?
I'll go first:
I have had two and I can't figure out which one surprised me the most:
- Mark Cavendish signs for Rabobank
- Bradley Wiggings signs for Xacobeo (or whatever they are called)

Jurgen van den Brock has signed with Palmeiras Resort in a game I have with Caja Rural 
Also:

Contador, Andy sign to rabobank the same year
Cancellara sign Footon, in july, but, in october when they descend he leave footon and sign rabobank
also, Cavendish didnt renove HTC and sign to Katusha.

its kinda funny because it also happens in the real world. First BMC and now Fly V are trying to get good riders. But when it happens in PCM, the team never get success out of it.

Just finished the first season on my save and Garmin had a very productive year...
They signed Frank Schleck, Lance Armstrong, Thor Hushovd (no joke!) and Cancellara 
But they lost Farrar to RadioSchack |

After a year with his Radioshack project, I had Lance resign with Astana (with Alberto on the roster). After spending a rather unsuccessful season there - he gave up and retired. And that is probably closest to reality. |
