The patch should be available tomorrow.
We decided to make more changes to have better sprints. We also made two other modifications :
- Sprinters AI improvement when they choose the sprinter they’ll follow.
- Loss of time for a puncture or a fall is now a bit shorter.
- Fixed a bug which could stop an attack from a rider which was trying to get some points for the mountain classification.

What does the last one mean exactly? Never heard of that one.
And great news with the puncture part. Ridiculous that you lose almost 3 minutes every time.

I don't ever remember losing 3 minutes from a puncture. I think every time I got back into the peloton. |

If your on 8x, the time gap gets huge.

In reality you have the wind shadow of all cars and you`ll come back quite easily. In PCM there are nor cars so you are totally alone. Especially on the final 50km the speed is too high, then you have almost no chance to come back even with several team mates. |

Exactly. If your captain have a puncture in the final 50-60 km you are fucked more or less. |

fx. I just played first stage of Vuelta AndalucÃa. Mountain stage. Vinokourov was one of the favorites, but with 67 km to go he has a puncture. He end up losing 13 minutes as nr. 113. |

yea the ai often doesnt get its riders back in the peloton after a puncture thats true...
i remember how in a carreer i played, barredo was abt to win the tirreno adricatico after a great performence thruout the whole race, but on the last really flat and short stage he had a puncture with maybe a bit less than 100km to go and he fall out of the peleton and never got back, also his team didnt seem to be interested to help him, he lost abt 10 mins vinkorov won the race...

I remember one time, that I was Xacobeo and at a mountain finish Cesar Veloso has a puncture about 0,6 km from finish. He lost 1'36'' to the group he was in. Yeah very realistic |

so still no "real trains" of the AI teams to expect, right? meaning, they'll still follow your own sprinter or another AI sprinter ... something like this? |

Let`s wait for the patch. I hope this means that the teams build trains but it also could be something else |

Freire (from Cyanide)
Here are some news about the problems :
- 1. gaps problems in hill
We found the problem for hilly races (e.g : amstel, flèche, liège) and a fix.
Results are now far better than before.
However gaps problems have not been reproduced on mountain stages and everything is ok with that.
If you have replays (with an original DB) of high mountain stages where sprinters like Cav or Petacchi are still hanging up the peloton in the last 5 kms feel free to send them !
In all the tests we made there was absolutely no way sprinters could do that, they were always at 20, 30, 40 minutes or even more at the end of the stage and never in the first group on the final climb.
- 2. sprints
The problem have been fixed.
Date ?
A beta version of this update will be ready next Tuesday.
The patch should be available tomorrow.
