I will play the worst Continental team, hardest difficulties, the official database and a house rule: Only French Riders/Staff allowed. And no training camps.

Thank you!
The team's economy is awful because of the montlhy deficit.
We are dealing with some sponsors to avoid bankruptcy.
The scout (J.Dupont) is dreadful but as we can't afford a better one he stays scouting over our HQ in Roubaix. Our riders don't have much TT progress potential but i keep the TT trainer (J. Manhaud) for the future. The other trainer (S.Vindiot) is expandable so I fire him out with the doctor (S.Jouvelet).
We don't have a single rider to win a race. The team is very young, with some potential, Fabien Taillefer can be a great rider in the (very) long term but we need results now. So we have signed a hardened and true leader (Halgand) and a decent team mate (Passeron).
Finally I have managed to sign sponsors that have goals in the land and around the same dates (March and August) for optimum fitness because it’s of vital importance to carry the commitmemts out.
Objective of the season: Reach sponsor objectives. Survive.
Next racing block:
GP Marseille (3/2)
GP Bessèges (6/2 – 10/2)
GP Mediterraneen (13/2 -17/2)
Volta Algarve (18/2-22/2)

Rolland arriving, his mate Fédrigo attack.
Fédrigo wins, Halgand 5th.
Not accomplishing April sponsor goals forces us to fire the scout (5.900€/month) to avoid red numbers in June.
I see the reports. We are watching a good sprinter in the region (North France), also tracked by AMICA.

Positive remaider guaranteed at least till October.

Relegation to Continental: BOUYGES, COFIDIS
Promotion to ProTour: AMICA, IDS
2009 RLM performance was very good. Halgand made the best season of his carrer:
GP Méditerranéen , , Stage 3
Paris-Corrèze , , Stage 1,2
Route du Limousin , Stage 4
GP Marseille, Tour du Var
But he is 35 and won't have the same record again.
Thanks to our great results new sponsors have doubled our revenues and monthly payments (from a total income of 34.000€/month to 72.000€/month)
We are solvent and sign:
Staff:
D.Gillet (Sprinter scout)
E.Bouvat (Sprinter trainer)
Riders:
Jérôme Coppel
23 years old. A promising timetrialist and decent puncheur, French Junior Champion of 2005, 2006 and 2007.
Stéphane Poulhies
24 years old. A promising good fighter who can sprint well. 2005 GP Méditerranéen winner.
Yves Afgour
Born in Lille, we must fuss him over. With a good physical potential and mad at downhills, he could become a powerful sprinter.
Geoffrey Garny
Last-minute signing. He had his word with BOUYGUES which relegation and a new austerity policy made easier to sign him for us. He has a impressive Sub 23 record and potential.
Out:
Fabien Taillefer, Pierre Cazaux (too high expectations)
Gil Suray (belgian)
Goal: This season i have picked humbler sponsor goals, because we don't need money urgently.
The main goal of the year is buy some equipment with the prizes and keep sponsors happy.
Next racing block:
20/3 Nokere Kourse
23/3 GP de Cholet (Sponsor: Finish Top 10)
29/3-31/3 Critérium l'International (Sponsor: Finish Top 10)
4/4 GP Vitré (Sponsor: Finish Top 10)
8/4-11/4 Tour de la Sarthe (Sponsor: Stage win) |

At season 2009, I had a very small team (around a dozen of riders) and only 1 with some chance to win (Halgand), so not much races could be played with optimal shape. I sim some "preparation" (before a fitness peak) and sometimes "postpeak" races. Also I sim flat races (if i don't have decent sprinters) or control races (Defend leader's jersey) if are not vital.
Thank you!
NOKERE KOURSE
Coppel 18th.
GP CHOLET
Sponsor: Finish Top 10
Daan is a good wheel (74 sprint)...
Poulhies, the new signing, ends 11th! just a position behind sponsor ambitions.
CRITÉRIUM L'INTERNATIONAL
Sponsor: Finish Top 10
Stage 1
Poulhies 13th in the final sprint.
Stage 2
Coppel 14th, 1'44' behind the favourites. He wasn't aware of the attacks.

Halgand 2nd! He claims his leadership in the team!
TOUR DE LA SARTHE
Sponsor: Stage win
No screenshots for this race. All 4 stages are flat, there is a TT which i play but unfortunately with Coppel (my only decent TTist) starting the first one so i can't manage to adjust the pace well.
Next racing block:
4/5 Circuit des grimpeurs (Sponsor: Finish Top 10)
27/5-31/5 Bayern Tour
4/6-8/6 Euskal GP
19/6-22/6 Tour du Sud (Sponsor: Finish Top 10)
