Fun Fact: Ax-3 Domaines got its inspiration from the Romans with it's neo-gothic design. It has been decorated the Roman way with marble, pillars, frescos and mosaics.
The location of Sastre's first of 3 TDF stage wins.

Astana gives Vino another shot and then he attacks all the way up the Port de Pailheres. Then Contador attacks on Ax 3 Domaines, Schleck follows and Vino stills finds strenght to relay for the rest of the climb and beats them in a 3 man sprint.

And 25 metres behind the finish line, Vino wakes up from his dream caused by his drugs |

Wrong climb to attack on they. Oh, you edited it. You made an unintentional joke, they are the best kind.

Lost control of your anger when Vino won, why a good attacking rider won the stage, gave us something different than a bunch sprint.

2nd fun fact of the stage: I'll go camping for the next four days, so I won't be able to see the stage. That means I'll have to record it and have a 4 mountain stages marathon on Thursday.
I expect big fireworks for this stage. Pailhères is brutal. |

This stage is the one where larger gaps are most likely.
I'm hoping someone will attack on the Pailhères.

If i had the money to bet here on Daily, and i dont because the auto-money system broke, i would put my money on Menchov.
I think both Andy and Contador will let one top 10 rider go at the foot of Domaines where he will eat up the rest of the breakaway.
1: Menchov
2: Contador
3: Schleck

Meh, last time I remember they did the Pailhères there were still 20 guys left at the top of the climb.
Although it was Thomas Dekker setting the pace back then.
Imagine Navarro doing the same...we'll have 5 men at the top? |

Nah, here's to hoping the average speed will be so slow they'll not hit the final climb until ca. 18:00.

Waghlon predicting the future...
Just one small thing though, that top 3 isn't the top 3 of the stage, it's the GC podium after the stage

I reckon that today is the day for the people gone in GC (Lance, Evans, etc) to make a breakaway |
