Hi guys, I have some difficulties planning my season on CT, because I don't know wich races are more important and wich rider should I take to each race.
Do you recomend me to make a plan for the season before it starts?
All I need is tips about season planning.
Thanks and sorry for my poor english |

look at your sponsor goals and what type of races they are. work your season around those with your riders most suited to the race or goal with your leaders peaking at those times. |

As I said in the other thread, you get the most points for Pro Tour races. These are, however, also the most difficult races to win.
Pro Tour is the highest level. This gives the most points. 2.HC and 1.HC are the races just below the Pro Tour. 2 indicates that it's a stage race, 1 that it's a classic.

Yeah, but Pro Tour races don't give me Continental Points or they do?
If not, why should I be racing in pro tour stages? |

I dont go Pro Tour races, only I go Giro, Tour or Vuelta ( I usually take Andalucia-Cajasur so, I only want go to the Vuelta ) because the Pro Tour's points aren't valid for Continental teams |

In this game it is? I belive so, that the pro-tour races counts for the continental as well.

No. If you are a continental team, you can only score continental ranking points in continental races.

So when the Continental Teams score PT points and get on the ranking table for the ProTour. Whats the point of that then?

Unless PCM10 is any different from any past versions, they dont do that. Only ProTour riders/teams should appear on the ProTour standings in game

Have you played the game?
They appear on the rankings(pro-tour ranking), thats why im so convinsed that the Continental teams get continental points for winning PT raceses. I do belive CrueTrue said something about it, but i can't find the thread.

Like I said, unless PCM10 is different. And having now checked, I see that it is different. Im not sure how much relevance it has though, being ranked on the ProTour standings as a Continental team

I think for for PCM11 they should introduce like real life, getting licenses based on results for Pro Tour, and continental, it will take away the stress of promotion and relegation, and be much better I think.

Nope - only CT races count on CT rankings, that much remains the same.

As far as I understand the ranking system (STA_bonus_UCI), continental teams do score points in Pro Tour races. |
