The favourite subject for everyone, every time a DB is released - so why not have a thread for it?
Seriously speaking, there's undoubtedly plenty of room for improvement - there is in all databases. In addition to that, many of you have lots of local knowledge that's better and more useful than what we can read through very few statistics on various websites.
Therefore, feel free to discuss the stats of the PCM.daily DBs here - but please do use arguments and back them up with statistics and/or other facts. We will not necessarily be taking part in the discussions, but we will be reading along.
Hopefully, this will also prevent further stat comments in the Bug Report thread(s).
Thank you. |

Not verry important but Gène and Bernaudeau from Bbox are sprinters, not brillliant but like 72 Sp for Gène and 70 for Bernaudeau like it is in the official DB (Ex : Tropical Amissa Bongo) and they also need higher flat stats otherwise they are completely useless
Team Europcar !!
RIP Wouter

Nah the username and the fact both riders are from Bbox didn't add up.

Armstrongs 72 COB stats. Pretty ridiculous that when I played online with a friend today Armstrong finished second on the arenberg stage in TDF. Almost beat Cancellara and gained over 3 minutes on Schleck\Conta\Menchov etc. The other grand tour riders should at least have over 60 on cobble if Armstrong have 72 IMO |

Just want to compliment all the stats makers part of this project. These stats are very good and I only had to change a few things.
A few things to maybe take note of is Rollin's cobble stat is 60 when it should be about a 68-70. He finished 5th in this race ahead of some very good riders.

I also thought LL Sanchez and J I Gutierrez's tt and prologue stats are a little low.
Other than that great job stat makers. Almost everything was spot on imo.

I think that is just right for someone who finished top 30 at Flanders. No other grand tour contendors did that. |

probably the stats of contador are a little bit to good the mountain stat is ok but 82 in tt and 83 in prologue or so is too good. sounds unbeatable ^^ |

But it's maybe because they didn't take part in the race. I am sure that if Armstrong is 72 - Schleck, Contador etc. will be at least 60. It's just because they don't focus on these races and never rode them they are so low. Armstrong shouldn't have such a big advantage when we haven't even seen yet which GC rider that will actually win most time in real life. |

I second those. And given Armstrongs 76 prologue stat, and last days results I think that they should obviously be evened out a little bit.
Also with the fact of me being Norwegian, I of course had a little focus on the Norwegian riders
Edvald is in-game being seen as a fighter and that limits his TT and Sprint hard. As I see him as a potential fighter for the green jersey in the years to come and a future top 5 in the world TT'er I think being limited to 77 TT and 76 Sprint is wrong for him..
I also think Hushovd would deserve a higher COB stat.
Also found it funny you've limited Tony Martins 82 TT to 74
Besides that and other small *doesn't really make a difference* stats I think the DB was good

Contador have always had to high time trialing stats in all DB's. It's only the original one where he always has a reasonable level. When he won that time-trial last year it was because he was fitter after the mountains and cheated. Not because he is one of the best time-trialists. |

Contador has always been a top prologue and ITT rider though. All of his first major results are from either prologues or time trials. |

I think Armstrong should get higher TT and prologue stats, or Contador should get lower stats. |

Armstrong should just get a higher prologue stat. He hasn't shown anything to justify a higher TT rating. |

Romain Sicard has a max mountain stat of 74, and a max flat stat of 85. I presume thats meant to be the other way round? |

The limitations are not supposed to be there at all and will be removed from the final version. |

contador just won the tt last year because he was fitter after the mountains if the tt had been in the first week cancellara and martin would have been much stronger.
