Well, the Public Beta is set for sometime next week - but on the other hand, what's the point when the career mode is still unplayable? |

Wouldn't it be better to wait for a final patch, that fixes most of the things in carreer mode? Carreer mode still is the most important thing in the game, and it won't hurt to play tours of classics with the wrong names ... Besides, there are a few real name DB's out there, nothing wrong with them either.

Just FYI: The release of patch 1.0.1.8 will not delay the release. The DB has already been ported, some tests still need to be performed, but it will definitely be released at some point later today.

Sorry about the delay, but, as described in the news article, it turned out to be a pretty time-consuming problem.
That said, it's now been fixed, and the DB is set to be released tomorrow before the prologue.
