Announcement for the 2011 season

Kenda Pro Cycling had in fact wild beginning of the season 2010, when Kenda entry in last-minute into the world of cycling. In the end of the season Kenda occupied the 14th place in the results of Continental Tour. Team manager Roman assess this result as excellent, especially when the team was built only with riders who were at the very threshold of the season in 2010 without a job and so the team couldn't take part in battles on the transfer market before last season.

Kenda after the season decided to limit the flow of money into the team and ends as our main sponsor of the team. However Kenda remain with us and will be one of the our smaller sponsors in season 2011. The team was looking for a new main sponsor - we found him at Kraft Foods who will present in cycling with one of its best-known brands - Milka.

Our headquater will be now in Czech Republic, although the team is officially German. We will continue in our strategy to be an international team, where every rider of different nationality have his place.

Other our American partners withdraw from us - instead them we welcome Kofola and CSC as our new sponsors. Kofola is the Czechoslovak company producing soft drinks, which is for most people around the world totally unknown, on the other hand a lot of cycling fans knows American business services and IT company - CSC.

Milka team will ride on Specialized bikes. Our other partners are Adidas, SRAM, Zipp and Giro. Finally, here is our jersey for season 2011, which created excellent shirtmaker Will007 which owns huge thank.

Announcement for the 2012 season

After a very successful year in the Continental Tour, which lead us to the promotion in the Pro Tour, Milka decided to sponsor our team for at least another year. The team will be newly French based, but we might also look for some Czech riders in the transfer window, especially some young riders.

Kofola, Kenda and CSC withdrew their sponsorship at the end of the 2011 season, but 2 new sponsors are coming in: Vittel and Skoda. Vittel is a French brand of bottled water sold in many countries, which is quite new to the world of cycling and they will become our co-sponsor. They will probably demand some new French riders on the team. Skoda is an automobile manufacturer based in the Czech Republic and they are one of more known cycling sponsors. After many years of sponsoring Tour de France, Skoda is entering to our team as minor sponsor of the team, with possible view to become major sponsor in some time. We are proud to announce that our team will ride on French bikes Look. Our other partners will be newly BBB and Lacoste.

Pre-renewals plans

Today, Milka is proud to announce its plans for the renewals of contracts for the next season. Manager of the team, Roman, said some words to every rider of this team and he learnt thoughts and demands of every rider of this team for the next season. So in the final, Milka has now 3 different groups (plus, I have 1 special group) of riders before renewals.

Transfer targets

The manager of the team Roman also hinted some transfer targets in next transfer season. It is rumoured that the team will push for bringing some of the best French riders in peloton. Most commonly riders like Jerome Coppel, Romain Sicard, Romain Feillu and Anthony Roux are rumoured with transfer to Milka - Vittel.

As it is known, the manager of the team Roman is Czech, and it is very likely that he will aim for some Czech riders too - especially for Roman Kreuziger and Frantisek Rabon. In the end, it seems like the main transfer target is Romain Sicard, who will be in the next transfer session free agent after disbanding of team Lafarge.

2012 Team Goals Announced

Today, Milka - Vittel is happy to announce the season goals for the upcoming season. Last season we accomplished four of five our goals and hopefully this year we can be even better. It will be really hard for sure, if we consider only the fact that Milka is a new team in the Pro Tour, but even the rookie in Pro Tour can be one of the best, even the best in the end of season. Anyway, let's start.

Top 10, Milano San Remo
Last year Sam Bewley in colours of Festina was second there when he won the bunch sprint. This year he will be our star and we hope he can get at least top 10 result this year too.

Top 10, Ronde van Vlaanderen
Another race, where we will hope for success of Bewley. He failed to get good result here last year (26th place), but this year we hope he can do much better here in Ronde. If everything goes well, Sam should be able to finish in top 10 at the end of the race.

Top 10, Giro d'Italia
Stefan Denifl rode Giro already last year when he was on loan in Festina and he was a really good helper for Castano. This year he is going to step up and take role of the leader in our team in Giro. Top 10 will be his goal, we feel it is really tough goal for him, but definetly not impossible.

And the last goal is the most probably the hardest to achieve. The Pro Tour is full of quality squads which we will face against. Before transfer season this is really tough goal, but we will see after transfers, how realistic chances we are having in this season.

Other races, where we will target for some good results will definetly be Omloop Het Volk, Gent - Wevelgem, Vattenfall Classic, GP de Fourmies and Tour of Northern Europe in all these races will be our leader probably Sam Bewley.

Presentation ride of Milka - Vittel


Milka - Vittel are showing the new jersey with new bikes in action to the public. We hope we'll achieve some great results on these new Look bikes, which helped us to design maestro in things - OlegTinkov, who owns from us big thank. We want to say thanks also to BoogieBoogie who made for us great design of BBB helmets. And we want thank too to ANFreeman who was the main designer of Lacoste which made for us really nice looking accessories.

The manager of Volkswagen-Siemens ran into Stefan Denifl on a restaurant the other day, and Stefan commented that a move to the German team would be interesting to him. Are there any possibility that Denifl will be changing teams during the transfer window?

Our opinion about Stefan Denifl

Stefan Denifl is really important rider for us. He was on the loan in Festina last season, but he was there to improve his mountain skills and we saw him like a great helper for Festina's leaders. This season he is so far back with us and we are definetely count him as one of our possible leaders for Grand Tours and some one-week races. Easily said, it would be really hard to get him away from us. He will change his team only if there will be on the table really, really good offer.

Adrian Malori was heard during a phone call with a friend, saying he was ready to continue his career in an Italian team. Rumours say that Venchi is very interested. Comments?

Other sources rumor that Bacardi is also interested in Malori. After CT last year, he's looking forward to getting some PT experience.
