Its time for the National Championships, and this year, they will all be raced. Some countries get their own, others will have to make do with a shared national championship - with 1 or more other nations - but the end result is the same. Each nation involved will finish with 1 Road Race champion and 1 Time Trial champion.
Of course, it is posssible that some of your riders will not ride. For championships such as Spain and Italy, there is a lot more teams with riders than team spots available - so I have tried to ensure that the best riders do get in. But for some countries, there is space for free agents to ride. Look out for them in either their national team or Team Alpro.
As World Road Race champion, Valverde will not ride the Spanish champs, and although Dave Zabriskie is riding the USA champs, he is ineligible for the Time trial title.
And finally, the list of races:
Australia
Africa (Algeria, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Gabon, Morocco, Namibia, South Africa, Tunisia)
America (Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica)
Asia (China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Kyrgysztan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Qatar, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan)
Baltic (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania)
Belgium
Canada (Also involving the 1 Trinidad/Tobago rider and 1 Bermudan rider)
Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic, Slovakia)
Colombia
Denmark
Europe (Armenia, Bulgaria, Finland, Greece, Moldova, San Marino, Serbia)
France
Germany
Great Britain
Ireland
Italy
Kazakhstan
LAH (Liechtenstein, Austria, Hungary)
Luxembourg
Netherlands
New Zealand
NRS (Norway, Sweden)
PLB (Poland, Belarus)
Portugal
Russia
Slovenia
Spain
Switzerland
Ukraine
USA
Venezuela

I was just happy a Rabobank rider didn't win the Dutch RR champs, since that team is most likely disbanding anyway.
The big suprize was Posthuma though, taking the TT
Now I'm just gonna need to get a jersey for him somewhere.
And the Aussie RR... Rogers came sooo close! At least he takes the TT for another year. Couldnt lose that one really. |

you can sell him to Jack Wolfskin. That way you won't need a jersey
Good to see Reus on the podium there

The African course is hilly, but not very difficult
