(thanks for the picture Jaroslav)
The team is Benteng Muda Tangerang (not sure if that is the team in the photo, but it's close)
For those that don't know and can't read the title, Benteng is a cycling team from Indonesia, Southeast Asia.
Anyway, the team
As you can see, we are an all-round type team. We may not be the most talented team but we do have IMAN SUPARMAN!!!!
and the goals the sponsors want us to acheive are
-> Stage wins in Jelajah Malaysia
-> Win the climber's jersey in the Tour of Siam
-> Stage wins in Dji Sam Soe Tour d'Indonesia
-> Finish in the top 5 for the Tour of Hokkaido
-> Finish in the top 10 for the Tour of Qinghai Lake
The rules
- No training camps
- No dot-use (other than dropping back in the pack)
- Level - Hard
I will be adding a few new faces, but as it is January i have limited my options by putting a maximum wage per rider of 2800 euros.
I have contacted many companies to try and get them to sponsor us but unfortunatley we have been turned down by every single one
I f there are any question/comments then please say, I'm bound to have missed something out as it is my 1st story

thanks, it will be very hard, but i wanted a challenge
Ok we have signed two new youngsters who will hopefully increase our team's chances of a win, and we have stuck to the salary cap so i feel they are very good buys for the money
Firstly, the young Dutch sprinter
And secondly, the young German
Vingerling could prove very useful to us as a very young sprinter, also he is the fastest rider in the squad at the present time
Fahnert goes well up mountains, hills, in time trials, and has great stamina, he is already a key member of the team, as before he came we didn't really have anyone to go up the hills and mountains.

A round of applause would be very nice
oh and i apologise in advance for the crap graphics
Jelajah Malaysia, 7 Stages:
Squad:
Vingerling is making his debut in this race and we hope he can post some decent results in the sprints. Suparman is there for breakaways, and for the mountains stage. We need a win here to satisfy the 1st sponsor goal of the season, but it will be very difficult.
Stage 1, Bentung - Kuantan:
So the first stage of this tour is about to get underway, but before it starts, a look at the jersey, so you can recognise the team.
Green...erm...yes, anyway this stage is a test for the sprinters and the number 1 favourite is Anuar Manan of Letua, he wins the first intermediate sprint to show his form.
Attack! Akiyama and Kibar Tanos sprint away from the bunch
The two riders work very well together and reach the 2nd intermidiate sprint which Kibar Tanos wins. Miyawaza wins the sprint for 3rd from the bunch. Unfortunatley the sprinter teams want this to end in a sprint so the gap starts to come down rapidly.
These two established a gap at its highest of 6'15". With 70kms to go the gap is down to 3'15"
The two breakaway companions get caught at with 45kms to go. Kibar Tanos and Akiyama are later dropped. The stage is all set for a bunch sprint into Kuantan.
The two trains, led by Nippo on the left and Marco Polo on the right.
Reid is leading out Cooper for Marco Polo, and at the start of the sprint they have a good gap to the Nippo train where Ashiro is leading out Miyawaza. Where is Manan?? He is way back, you may be able to see him in the blue behind his leadout man on the far right. Vingerling is the 4th rider in the Nippo train.
1km to go Cooper is in the lead
1km to go and Cooper leads, with Miyawaza coming alongside in the red and white. Vingerling is behind the Nippo lead-out man trying to cling on. But who is the rider in the blue behind Cooper??? Manan He has been sprinting into the wind for a long time though, can he get round...
No he can't. But it's very close between Cooper and Miyawaza, who won???

if there are any suggestions on how to do it better then please say, and sorry again for the graphics, especially the road

Don't worry - it's not the screens, it's the quality of the story that matters

as i say i will try fix the graphics as on PCM3 it says that crappy SIS cards are incompatable with the game, but the road still works fine, so i will fiddle
the only goal that i can set is a 'stage win'
can't really expect much from this squad, and i extremley doubt there will be promotion this year.
@Marco, i doubt we will be riding any cobbles with this squad, but if we do i remember that cobbles used to show up perfectly, now we just have to see if they still do
and thanks everyone

Yeah, is too bad not to see cobbles. I had a 8mb graphic card until 2 years ago and the cobbles show up perfectly in cym3 and cym4.

good news
Jelajah Malaysia
Stage 2/7, Kuantan - Kula Terengganu
Another flat stage here in Malaysia. The big favourite is of course the 20 year old sprinter, Manan. Can someone suprise or will he win as expected?
Everyone is staring at the ground. (Marco Polo rider) 'What the hell is this...wha...what th...whaat the hell...what the hell is this?? (to the the guy in dark blue) Do you know what it is? No. What the hell is this? (Nippo guy) You don't get this crap in Japan!
After the complete confusion of the riders to the thought of tarmac after the grey carpet they're used to riding on, the race began. Haryan and two other riders tried to break away from the pack with 20kms gone, but the sprinter teams pulled them back, obviously wanted to get to the intermediate sprints first. They did, Manan won it with ease. 5kms later they let 2 riders get away.
Fitrianto (Polygon Sweet Nice) and Ishida (Asian Racing Team)
Fitrianto wins the second sprint on the road, and Manan wins the sprint from the bunch, for 3rd. The two breakaway companions, got a maximum lead of 4'15" before the pack started chasing with 84kms to go. They made it to the final intermediate sprint which Fitrianto won again, Cooper this time won the sprint for 3rd.
The pack make the catch with 21kms to go, a bunch sprint will decide this one.
Marco Polo train on the right with Reid leading out Cooper once again. Letua train on the left with Nazir leading out Manan, who has Vingerling on his wheel Miyawaza is behing his leadout man on the far right.
Cooper once again has a perfect leadout, but remember how far back Manan was in Stage 1 and still managed to get right up there. Can he win today?
Yes he wins very easily and on the far left of the screen, who is that...Vingerling!!!!!

Thanks Crommy
As promised, we are announcing 2 new signings, we hope they will aid our progress, as they may not be great cyclists, but we hope they will do well for our team:
Amador goes well up the hills and mountains, and is also a very good time trialist, we hope he will help our team in the stage races.
Stannard is a young British cyclist originating from the track, he is very poweful on the flat and a very good time trialist. He also goes well on the cobbles, and that is what we will be training him on.

Jelajah Malaysia
Stage 3, Kula Terengganu - Kota Bahru
Flat stage again today. Manan will be looking to secure another win for his Letua team, but will a breakaway spoil his chances. Tomorrow is the big mountain stage so will the teams be taking it easy today and let a breakaway fight for victory. Akiyama thinks so and takes off with 20kms gone. Akiyama was in the breakaway in Stage 1 and is obviously the designated breakaway man for Asian Racing Team.
Akiyama tries a 140km solo
Akiyama is let go on his own, and obiouvly takes the first intermediate sprint. Cooper wins the sprint from the bunch for 2nd before Manan in 3rd.
Akiyama's lead starts to drop with 93kms to go, his maximum lead was 7'15". He does however make it through the last 2 intermediate sprints. Manan wins the bunch sprint for 2nd ahead of Cooper for both of them.
Akiyama is caught with 27kms to go so the sprinter teams are sensing victory for their men on today's stage.
Marco Polo are at the front again with Reid leading out White and Manan. The centre train is formed by Azad University, with Salehain leading out Sohrabi. The left-most train is the Nippo train with Arashiro once again leading out Miyawaza. Cooper is way back, 9th person in the Nippo train and Vingerling has taken up Manan's wheel again.
With Cooper way back this is surely a battle between Miyawaza and Manan. However Miyawaza gets a bit too excited and starts his sprint from 2.5kms out. Manan is the complete opposite and doesn't start his at all and by 1.2kms to go Miyawaza is in the lead and Vingerling is forced to start sprinting as he is on top of Manan. Manan finally starts sprinting with 800m to go can he bridge the gap to Miyawaza???
Yes and with ease
