Here are the Team leaders

For Mountain stages:

img25.imageshack.us/img25/9568/valverdev.jpgValverde is a fairly good climber, even better puncheur with a decent sprint value

For sprints:
img51.imageshack.us/img51/277/rojasb.jpg
Rojas is a good sprinter he can grab a few wins on flat stages and even a hilly stage if it comes down to a sprint because he is also decent on hills.

For Time Trial:
img714.imageshack.us/img714/9936/luissanchez.jpg Maybe our best all around rider he can climb time trial and he's still under 25 so a white jersey in the tour for him is possible.
For Cobbles:
img51.imageshack.us/img51/5797/coyot.jpg
Not even close to being the best cobbles rider in cycling but he's the best at it on our team. He could also be useful for a lead-out for Rojas

I simulated this stage because it's supposed to crash

Stage 3
And just my luck it crashed so no pics again.

I can tell you though that davis was a bit behind sanchez enough to have a time gap when the sprint started. But Sanchez was out of gas so when Davis passed him in the sprint Sanchez tried following but wasn't fast enough.

Stage 4
img163.imageshack.us/img163/1112/tdustage4start.jpg
The riders start of in Mannum

img196.imageshack.us/img196/522/breakaway1.jpg
The first Break of the day included Madrazo of Caisse and Grabsh of Colombia.

img138.imageshack.us/img138/7674/tdustage4break2.jpg
A bunch of other riders joined the 2 but it didn't last long and soon they returned to the peloton.

But a break went again with Madrazo in it. He was really looking to get some mountain points today. And he did.

Stage 5 Wilunga hill

Not much happened in the first half but inthe 2bd half the pace really picked up.
img691.imageshack.us/img691/6364/tdustage5attack.jpg
Jose Gutierez and Vaugrenard attacked at the first hill and were 1st over the first hill.
img177.imageshack.us/img177/2424/tdustage5footofclmb.jpg
The Gutierez attacked again gaining 30 seconds on Vaugrenard at the foot of the last climb. But on the last climb all of the favourites attacked including Luis Leon Sanchez. Gutierez waited for sanchez so Vaugrenard went passed to grab some mountain points.
img64.imageshack.us/img64/9250/tdustage5mountain.jpg

img715.imageshack.us/img715/786/tdustage55kmtogo.jpg
With 5km to the finish Sanchez had lots of energy and knbew if he wanted to win the Santos Tour Down Under he needed time. He gained 11 seconds on the second group with Gutierez and Gadret.

img715.imageshack.us/img715/1214/tdustage5win.jpg

Luis Leon Sanchez held on to win the stage but just barely. He has also probably won the TDU.

Stage:img64.imageshack.us/img64/3036/tdustage5stagepodium.jpg

GC:img196.imageshack.us/img196/3049/tdustage5gc.jpg

Points:img715.imageshack.us/img715/6886/tdustage5points.jpg

Mountain:img64.imageshack.us/img64/5666/tdustage5mountainpodium.jpg

-25:img715.imageshack.us/img715/8730/tdustage525.jpg

As long as we keep the pace up and don't let a breakaway get too much of a lead Sanchez should win the Santos Tour Down Under.

Stage 6 Adelaide City Council

This stage is very flat but has a slight downhill near the end of the race.

As the race started they entered the outskirts of town.
img191.imageshack.us/img191/2154/tdustage6start.jpg

A breakaway formed with Simon Spilak And Arashiro. Both riders were not very much of a threat so the peloton (Caisse) let them ride away.
img20.imageshack.us/img20/9832/tdustage6break.jpg

Spilak and Company got caught but held on with the lead group which had gone clear from the Peloton. This group contained all the caisse boys, the breakaway riders and, McEwen, Napolitiano, and, Pozzato.

img194.imageshack.us/img194/3273/tdustage64km.jpg
But with 4km to go the group went over a small downhill section and Sanchez and Gutierez managed to pull quite a lead over the rest of the group.

The peloton ended up catching every single member of the break but Sanchez actually managed to win the last stage.

We are happy with Sanchez and Rojas's results. This race was very easy though so we hope that there will be more cometition in the rest of the season.

Stage 1 was a boring stage. We didn't bring a sprinter so the job for most on caisse was protect our leader (Uran,Pereiro).

GC Same as above

KOM: No mountain points on this stage
