The Chinese race makes its Management Game debut, based upon the route of the real-life Olympics - different therefore from the route used for the Management Game's Olympics. Whatever the route though, Samuel Sanchez always seems to shine here, winning both, and so therefore has got to be considered a serious threat once again - alongside 3 riders in the Top 10 of the Individual rankings: F Schleck, Cunego and Ricco.
This race differs slightly from other ProTour classics in that its mountain rating is 0.5 - a combination of Mountain and Hill skill will be vital. Amongst the climbers hoping to capitalise is TDF winner Markus Fothen.

Sinkewitz and Fothen here so I pretty much have one of every type of rider that is likely to win this one.

I sent a pretty strong team to this race, but I don't think it will mount into much. |

Well done by Pozzovivo. Again, these hilly stages haven't really been Philips' favourite this season, so 8th is alright. |

He crossed the line second, but for some reason the results do mess up - certainly in a few continental race sprints Ive had to redo the results on file because they are not the results of those who crossed the line.
Ill go fix the results for this aswell, because Cunego was 2nd

That makes it a bit better
It does make sense indeed to say he was second, looking at the screens. |

12th for Florencio suits me just fine, was expecting absolutely nothing. Makes the 2nd by Cunego not too damaging.

Wow winning this race is just perfect. Getting some nice points away from Accumalux, Rabobank and so on...

Badaling was actually a milestone in the season - it marks that we have now completed 75% of the ProTour races! (the ongoing Volta al Portugal marks 75% for Continental races)
And heres a quick rankings update

Dunno about Schlecks races from now on, but looks like I still have a shot at the individual rankings as well! |

It will be a nice head to head. Andy Schleck has Lombardia and Japan, while Cunego has those 2 aswell as Emilia.
Of the rest of the top 5, Ricco only has Lombardia, Bennati has Seine and Fourmies, while Frank Schleck has Asturias, Emilia, Lombardia and Japan.

Schleck is 75 Hill right? Looking gooooood!
He should've gone with Asturias I think. Schleck does have some nice racing left, but that gap is too big I think. |

Lombardia does have a bit more advantage to climbers than other classics - but its a bit less than Badaling. But yeh, he is unlikely to get much out of Japan - so its a case of just how well can Cunego do.
