Bad news everyone, my game crashed I was in the start of the 2nd season. I will of course start the game again, but you think it's ok if I start it with the cyclists I had in 2nd season?
That would mean:
IN: Yaroslav Popovych (DSC)
Thomas Lövqvist (FDJ)
Mark Cavendish (TMO)
Nick Nuyens (?)
OUT: Jimmy Caspar (FDJ)
Victor Hugo Pena (EUS)
Gorik Gardeyn (COF)
U think that's ok? |

Hey new problem , I'm quitting the Unibet story and beginning with a new team instead because when I changed thos things in the hannes editor all rider pics got mixed up and the commentators calling Popovych for Mercado and Cooke for Vinokourov and so on, and if I start over with old database it would ruin a bit of the fun when I already done that once before. So I will start a new one with a new team and you guys will choose which one...
One of these I will manage:
Francaise Des Jeux
Barloworld
Benfica
Andalucia - Cajasur
HN Linguista (my dad's company, but then I need help to do jersey and put them in the game) |

I've taken control of Barloworld, and my main goal for the first season is of course to get promoted to the CTT, but here's the goals that the board gave me:
Milano - Torino, Top 3
Coppa del Appennino, Win
Giro de Italia, Stage win(s)
Brescia Tour, Stage Win(s)
Klasika San Sebastian, Top 10
*Coppa Varesine,Ruta a Burgos
**Campione di Italia,La Fleche Wallonne
***Giro de Italia,Coppa Ciclistica Internazionale
I've taken a look at my team and I'm quite pleased with what I see
A lot of Climbers and Sprinters, but I miss a Northern Classic rider and some Time Triallists wouldn't be too bad.
To fix this I made 5 signings for free, 2 stage racer,2 Time Triallist, 1 Puncheur
I didn't find a northern classics rider that wasn't 100 years old or too bad for the races. This is the signings:

Johnathon Bridge
and STUPID FRENCH DB MAKERS
how hard is it GerAint Thomas and they always mess up his cobbled stat, he won the Junior Paris-Roubaix when he was 18 but they give him crappy cobbled stats, now i'm no expert but i thought P-R was a cobble race
good luck

Hehe, Addy - always a sworen defender of the British Empire.
You do, however, have a point (obviously about the name part, but about his stats as well).
Zimao, I like the fact that three of your new signings are equal to or better than my Espoirs top riders...
Btw. VERY nice team choice. |

Tour Down Under:
Favourites:
Stuart O'Grady - Team CSC
Robert Hunter - Barloworld
Jean Nazon - Ag2r Prevoyance
Jimmy Caspar,Baden Cooke - Unibet.com
Tour Down Under Stage 1, Adelaide-Adelaide
The opening stage of the Tour of Australia, or Tour DOwn Under as it is called mostly. A very short and completely flat stage in Adelaide, just 50km, so a breakaway will not make it if it goes as it should be. I registered 8 riders for this race, and they are:
G. Bonomi
R. Hunter - Sprinter
F. Sanchez
F. Guidi - 2nd Sprinter
J. Bridge
E. Degano - Lead Out Man
H. Sabido - Leader
G. Thomas
4 riders tried a breakaway early in this stage but as planned they were caught quite quickly and it was clear that this stage would end in a mass sprint. My hope was to win this sprint with Hunter and make Sabido lose as little energy as possible for an eventual breakaway in a later stage. But that hope was shattered when there was a mass colission in the pack with 5km to go were Sabido where involved. Hunter avoided it as he was in the front of the pack. I tried to make my own train with Degano,Guidi and Hunter but as I were losing ground I made Hunter take O'Grady's wheel instead.
and with 700 meters to go I left his wheel and tried to go past him. Hunter was a little boxed in and I thought he wouldn't make it, but....
he made it by a wheels length and took the yellow jersey in the first stage
