Preview by SN (click to enlarge). The race will probably begin early next week (Monday-Wednesday).

The competition is weaker than I thought, but I'm sure that Dekker will screw up somehow anyway. |

x2. For next year I'm considering for Cunego to only do the Giro (gonna be a sponsor goal, always) and the Tour... |

Looks to be a very exciting race. I have a pretty strong team here. Hopefully Hushovd can get a lot of strong results, and a top 5 from Contador would be needed.

I'm banking on some great results in the TT's from Coppel and Zabriskie, especially with the chance to grab yellow in the first. A top 10 from Spilak would be nice.

A stage win would be perfect for BMC. such a result would be a serious feather in our cap.

At first, I was just satisfied that Dekker was at the front and not in the middle of the peloton where the major crash happened. That he won was an extra feather in the hat - completed by the main rival losing almost three minutes. |

And Plaza's already lost nearly 2 minutes. Good work team. This is why I never usually have more than 1 leader in the team. As it is, I kinda have 3. The one with the least chance of performing took 5th though, so some points are better than none!

If previous GT's are anything to go by, Dekker has just taken what will probably be the first of roughly 10 stage wins in this Tour.

Im amazed, two stages in and Devolder havent made sweet love with the tarmac and Lefevre, at this point older than anything that should be allowed to ride Le Tour, is busy doing his traditional stupid tricks that leaves just short of the dotted jersey.

I was happy for a while, because Contador hadn't been mentioned in any crashes, but then I read SN's comment inhere and went to check.
Contador has lost 1'41" aswell... Not that good to be honest. Luckily a lot of contenders have lost equally or more time than Contador, and Hushovd banking in some very needed points by doing 6th and 2nd. Well done.
Hopefully Contador was only caught in the crash, and didn't go down himself...
