Oh yes, you know it makes sense to have a topic.
Now this isn't news but i read about it today and this topic still angers me.
HOW CAN HE CONTINUE TO RIDE AND WIN THINGS WHEN HE HAS A BAN IN ITALY!
Yes, it's anoying me, more than anything else in the world of pro cycling actually.
Now the court date is set at a vague "Some time in 2010"
How much longer do we have to wait?
(You can vent your anger too if you like)

Because the guy's been caught for doping in 2006. He therefore needs to serve a 2 year ban which he's yet to do.
Quite obvious, right? |

But it's only italians who thinks that it is proven!
For example, I am SURE that Armstrong had won his Tours because of doping, but I DON'T HAVE PROOFS of that. So, I don't want him to ride, but I know, that he can do it.

Come what may, I can't see ASO letting him ride the Tour next year. LBL either.

But there is proof. His Puerto blood bags matched up to the DNA.

Dude, slightly different circumstances. They did not link any of Armstrongs DNA like they did with Valverde. Plus you can't be SURE of something if you do not have PROOF. |

I'm kind of tired of this issue to be still so angry. It's becoming more and more obvious that he'll ride in the next season, and neither the UCI nor the Spanish CSD are doing nothing to prevent it. It's not like I thought that they'll do, but still.
This issue is absolutely shameful for me, as a Spaniard. We're defending a rider who doesn't even say that he didn't dope, but he's basing his defense in the possible lack of jurisdiction of the CONI in the OP.
Get lost Lissavetzky, get the farther you can of Spain. I'd even buy a f***ing ticket with no return to Pluto for you. |

They found EPO in Armstrong's urine samples in a re-test ... but right, this is different circumstances.
As already mentioned, the Italians have a blood test from Valverde. They also have his Puerto blood bag. They've matched the two and found that the DNA is identical. As Kumazan says, the Spanish authorities aren't denying this. They're saying that CONI wasn't allowed to use the blood bag...
Not only am I sure, I also know that there's proof. |

Doesn't look like, with the way you insult Bastianelli in your sig
EDIT: oh wait, you corrected it. For months it referred to her as a man

Armstrong's urine tested positive for EPO. Why would they do a DNA test?

The Italians are the only ones who think he has doped, an I think he didn't. Im a massive Valverde fan and if you ask me I think CONI had no right to ban him and invade his private files without permission. UCI must think he isn't doping so I don't think he will ever be banned. |

So he's innocent because you think CONI didn't have the right to trial him allthough he doped?

If that's the case if or when Valverde is banned then I will stop seeing him as my idol. But until he still is and until I will still believe he isnt doping. |

Of course we have a right. It's called freedom of speech
This is not some sort of legal court. We're free to make guesses, especially when there's this much evidence. |
