Mountains, thin air, hills and mountains! The race that contains 15 stages will certainly provide great shows mainly by the climbers.

Brajkovic may not be the pure best climber but he is the favourite due to the existance of hilly stages and two TTs being one of them mountainous. Henao Montoya seems to be the best climber, but what makes Brajkovic's chances better also makes the Colombian's chances worse. He may benefit from home turf advantage, though. Danielson also intends to make a good show, as Starbucks wants to keep the good performances coming. But let's not forget of another Colombian, Pedraza. He is Sony Ericsson's leader and, therefore, the hopes of the current CT leaders are deposited in the South American. And last, but not least, the Mexican, Perez Cuapio who can count with the strong support of Nicácio, Torres and Soler amongst others.
In the sprint section, Bazajev seems to be the strongest while Schumacher and Anza may dominate in the hill side or they can just work for their leaders. The outcome of this race will certainly be exciting! |

Young riders jersey, although some how I doubt I will hang onto it.

Henao got to get top 3 to fulfill the goal which is possible, although he will suffer in the hills. |

I'd have liked Vespa to race this - but my team really is not built for a race like this.
Maybe if I can get myself a decent climber next time around.
EDIT - Must say, I think it's pretty crazy that Stefan Schumacher is here.

Nice start with a 8th place by Pedraza.
Now the plan for Pedraza is to lose no or little time on the hills and then ride away in the mountains powered by his compariots.

I already raced Stage 2 and 3. They will be up in Friday (like Stage 4 and, perhaps, 5) and I can tell they were very exciting |

I'm very surprised with Henao Montoya's performances, as he actually managed to gain time on Brajkovic. Danielson is up there, though, and I hope that will change in the next stage. |

Thank you, always nice to hear a compliment, even though that isn't true.
When the mountains come, Henao Montoya fails. I'm starting to fear that he may not be able to get the top 3. And three failed goals already would be devastating for my team. |

Hey, I got the same goal. I'm sure that Henao gonna get better soon and that Moreno gonna fade. And I hope that Pedraza can keep up with Henao.

You can imagine my surprise (and frustration) when I saw Schumacher flying past Aguilar. |

Got second place by four seconds which isn't much at all. I hope the follow wheel type of racing that's have been going on will continue.
