My guess is that we're going to need a thread for this

For some reason, some people experience a crash on the 1st stage of Tour Méditerranéen. There's also some who experience something during the Mallorca stage race.
By installing the file below, you should be able to continue your career.

the scout zones, i can't do anything it just crash, and a few team miss there bikes. But fantastic work !  |

The scouting zones work. You just need to make sure that the Local.cdb is installed correctly (in My Docs/PCM, NOT MyDocs/PCM/Database).
About the teams missing equipment, I'd like a list |

I have a bug with the first stage of the Tour de Méditerraneén, crashes playing in career and in stage mode. Re installed the game and still crashes. |

Doesn't crash at my end (clean install, exact same DB as you). Will need to see other people confirm this.
Any chance you don't have the Patch 1.0.3.3 installed? |

Jacp: Try opening Program Files/Cyanide/PCM/Classifications. In this folder, you need to have a file called cont_21_medtour.xml. if you don't have this one, it's somehow been wrongly installed. |

Hi Crue,
I had the same problem with the scouting zones until I read your response, and then noticed that I hadn't moved the new local.cdb from the download into my PCM folder - I went back to check the installation instructions to see if I'd missed a step and noticed that they don't mention the local.cdb file at all. Maybe the instructions could be amended for those of us who are a bit dim at times? 
Also, I noticed that in 3D mode the Cervelo bidons are plain white with no Cervelo logo.....don't know if this is correct but thought I'd mention it.
Apart from those veeerrrrryyy minor things, it looks great!  |

The idea is that you extract the My Documents.rar-file to My Docs/PCM. By doing that, the Local.cdb will automatically be placed in MyDocs/PCM, and the DB file in MyDocs/PCM/Database.
But yeah, I'm sure it could have been explained better in the installation file |

i've had the Tour de Méditerraneén crash too. is there any way to uninstall and reinstall the pack without having to uninstall the game? only have so many activations and deactivations... |

Just try installing it again. Make sure that ALL the files from the Program Files.rar-file are extracted to Program Files/Cyanide/PCM.

You could just try and install the .db again, without uninstalling the game.

It's daily_cont_21_medtour.xml actually. But even with it that game crashes
EDIT:
I remember, that in beta-testing there was the same problem. It was classifications.xml bug.

As said: On a clean install, with the latest patch and DB correctly installed, I don't see why the game would crash on that day. I've 4-5 save games on my computer where I'm way past that date.
Jacp also confirmed that when he installed it correctly, it worked. |

Just replaced cont_21_medtour.xml in Classification directory with default.xml and... IT WORKS!!! Problem solved!
Mike, I had cont_21_medtour.xml from internal beta and it worked perfectly. But now I deleted it and owerwritten it with the one goes in db. That file don't work!

Jacp wasn't a beta tester, though, so there's no chance that he had the internal beta testing files
And on my clean install, I didn't have the beta testing files either.
Anyway, as said: I will acknowledge it as being a problem if it's confirmed by other members. Until then, I can't do anything else than saying that it should work if one follows the installation guide. |
