Equipment
I can't select all the equipment - why not?
You can - just not in the Equipment Buying Screen. In the Equipment Selection Screen before a race, all the equipment is selectable.
All the equipment has the same stats - why?
In PCM, equipment does not have an effect. The stats pretty much doesn't represent anything. Therefore, the stats are equal for all types of equipment.
All the equipment is free, and I want to buy it!
Teams do not buy equipment in real life. Teams are paid to ride specific brands of equipment, so we've made it free and thereby given you the choice of what equipment to use.
Some teams don't use the same equipment as they use in real life. Why is that?
The DB comes with a very enhanced equipment part - but there are limits. We don't have everything, but as far as possible, the teams are using their real life equipment. If we don't have it, we've set the teams to use equipment that match their team kit.
Doped Riders
I've just signed Michael Rasmussen, but I can't select him for races.
All riders have been given an injury that makes them unavailable for riding until their (real life) ban expires.
The game says that e.g. Thomas Dekker's suspension runs out in November. I'm now in December, and he's still suspended.
In the Rider Info box, the game doesn't say in which year the rider will be available again. Therefore, it's a good idea to do some research before signing a rider 
Vinokourov's just returned for Astana, but he's completely useless in my game.
The suspended riders' fitness drop for each day that they are suspended (it's being reset at the end of the year, though). So when Vinokourov returns, he probably won't be to much good (until 2010). For the very same reason, it's in general not a good idea to sign dopers until their ban has expired.
I've now signed a suspended rider. When I click the rider, the game crashes.
If you've signed a banned rider the game crashes when you click his name. So, either 1) don't sign banned riders until their ban has expired, or 2) don't click the banned riders that you've signed.
AI teams sign banned riders despite the fact that they're not returning until 1-2 seasons later. Is this normal?
Unfortunately, we can't prevent AI teams from signing whoever they like.
Graphics
I can't ALT+TAB anymore. Why?
When installing this DB, your settings are reset. To make ALT+TAB work, you need to disable the introduction videos (Options -> Graphics).
After installing this DB, the game is much slower in 3D.
As in the question above: Your settings are reset when installing this DB. Therefore, lowering your graphic settings should do the trick.
The Costa Rica flag is different from the other ones?!
Before installing this package, you need to delete the country_flags folder in Program Files/Cyanide/PCM/Gui. If you didn't do this, open the folder and delete all the files that end with .dds.
Some mini shirts are wrong/different

Flags are missing, and the scouting zones don't work either!
They do work, but something might have gone wrong during the installation. So, either try re-installing, or try downloading the Local.cdb (needs to be placed in My Docs/PCM).
Career
Why is Simeoni still Italian Champion and not Pozzato?
The National Championships are recognized as races during the season - so when you're playing through the 1st season, you'll get to play the 2009 National Championships. Therefore, we use the champions of 2008.
With the Final Version of the pack, there's a 2010 Transfer Update included. This one has 2009 champions.
Other issues
The game hangs when trying to play a track event.
Due to our way of setting up the equipment part, track events can't load. We therefore recommend using the original DB or another DB for track events.
With the Final Version of the pack, there's a seperate Track DB included. Use this, and track mode will work.

I have a few questions about doped riders...is this kind of "injury" present in game? Can my rider dope and be out of duty for 2 upcoming years? Have doctors any impact for this and can take up time of healing? |

Giogua: This week.
Beagle: Your riders can't dope and can't be suspended. The injury is only used for the known dopers and can't 'happen' during a career.
The doctors can make the suspension shorter, but we've added a few days to the actual length of the suspension to prevent the riders from returning earlier than expected. |

Actually, I think it's bad, that riders won't dope in "future". I know, it could be wrong especially for real riders, but it's game's life, and someone of course could be doped. Anyway, looking orward to see full database soon! Hoping to start a story based on it.

If you want to activate it, you need to edit STA_injury_label. ID 12 is the doping injury, and in gene_flist_probability, you can change the chance of the injury happening. Set it to e.g. 0,1 if you want to activate it.
(You do of course need the DB first ) |

Are dopers banned right at the start of the season or will they get their 'injury' from the moment they are caught. (For Example: is Dekker from january to july still with Silence or is he free agent right from the start?)

Dopers are banned and free agents from the 1st of January. We can't make it work in any other way. |
