Schumacher is the the main favourite, but Kirchen, Gilbert, Ignatiev, Vandenbroeck and Bertagnolli may also fight for the win. The first stage may not be decisive as it has a short length and the main favourites are all good in this discipline. But the second, the fourth and the fifth and last stage, may all the decide the winner. Or not. Stay tune! |

too bad Kirchen lost the jersey in a stage that didn't announce that.
Still having 2 riders in top 5 after 3 stages can't be a bad thing.

Slightly strange result that on a 'flat' stage. |

Indeed, but the main sprinters had poor hilly stats. Szczawinski, on the other hand, has a nice hill stat and a nice sprint stat and got second. And if the stage was a little longer, he would probably take the win. |

I guess the .db is set to make that hill stat really count in the finale too. |

Could be that, or just that sprints are no longer particularly good in PCM

Yay Froome! He has certainly saved what was up til now a damp squib of a race with Ignatiev being lazy.

Kirchen looks strong but Schumacher is just too good. The second place in the end would be a great result

Real washout this race for Vespa.
Gabriele Bosisio has been a no show at just about every race he's gone to. |
