It's time for the second Grand Tour of the year! I'll be posting up the first stage (an opening team time trial) tonigth, but first it's time to read this preview, which SN was so kind to make.

Very nice preview, eventhough I would expect Sanchez Gil to do quite decent here and almost certainly a top 10 imo.
Castaño is a good alrounder but, yes I should be very lucky to get top 5. 7th would be alright.

Oh I thought it was 79, in that case it's my fault obviously. And luckily
It will be interesting to see how much will be gained on La Gazzetta, a mastermind putting in Bennati as the only real supersprinter should give 5 stagewins or so. I doubt I will get any unless I strike lucky.
Rabobank could lose 2nd to Wikipedia, or will most likely. I can probably close the gap aswell while Lipton, Accumalux and Domina Vacanze will all be very close to 2nd aswell...
Very interesting!

12 seconds down for us, I guess that is what we could expect. Now a lot of stages in which we have nothing to do.

Are you going to write "Espagna" during the entire tour? It's 'España' |

Now THAT is what I had hoped for. Brilliant start, but I think that Rasmussen will be dropped every single stage, so I guess some of my guys will drop back with him too. I just hope Anton and Plaza stick with it and don't lose time in any of the non-important stages.

Man, I just thought I had it. I really hope to pick up a stagewin here. I'm still on just one stage victory this season, which I can't be happy with, hopefully they will start coming at some point

Uran looks primed to do well for me here. Hopefully the early TT will establish him at or near the top of the standings once the mountains begin.

Cavendish.
And as the next two stages are flat, hopefully he can hold the jersey and win a stage with the bonus he gets from being in the leaders jersey. |

7th is good. If I can place myself up that high on each sprint stage i'll be satisfied...

Serpa should be a podium contender hopefully.

Yeah, so far so good
And the next stage is flat as well, so it should become 3/4 |

Agreed. I should've put Hushovd here to atleast pose a threat. La Gazzetta is tumbling away to an easy overall Pro Tour victory with the strenght of Bennati and strong tactical indication from Mrlol...

You keep forgetting that I will score close to zero points in the biggest race of the season. |

I love the fact that Rasmussen is so bad. It keeps me amused greatly.
Looks like I'm down to just three riders in the top 10 now then! Go on Plaza and Anton!
