Cycling Club Bourgas: Pride of Eastern Europe
olabj
Hi, we are the Cycling Club Bourgas, pride of the Eastern Europe. I`m their manager and together we are going to build a team based mostly on Eastern European riders. These riders will be our key riders for the next year(s).

Janek Tombak
i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq256/olabj/TombakJanek.png
Janek is the undisputed leader of our team and he is obivously the one who we will ride for

Zak Dempster
i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq256/olabj/DempsterZak.png
One of the up and rising stars that might get a sucessful career, if he have the right training, for now he might be our last man in the leadouts, he might also have his own chances later on

Normunds Lasis
i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq256/olabj/LasisNormunds.png
Talented Latvian rider who will mostly ride for experience, he might also get his own chances, however, that will be late in the season I think

The full squad looks like this:
i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq256/olabj/bourgaslaget.png

We do also have some goals which we have to have quit much of luck to complete them all, especially top 10 in the Tour of Slovenia, were I don`t see anyone who could make that.

I know that there are some good 09 stories popping up now, especially Guido`s, but I wanted to give it a try with 08 so please comment and do also please correct me if I have any grammar mistakes, 'cause that is one of the reason to write this story, to improve my English

Why is Tombak always so underrated in mountain anfd hill. Everybody has forgotten Canadian WC and he did pretty good at mountainious Bulgarian race this year.
Canadian WC:
1 Igor Astarloa (Spain) 6.30.19 (40.029 km/h)
2 Alejandro Valverde Belmonte (Spain) 0.05
3 Peter Van Petegem (Belgium)
4 Paolo Bettini (Italy)
5 Michael Boogerd (Netherlands) 0.06
6 Bo Hamburger (Denmark)
7 Michael Barry (Canada)
8 Luca Paolini (Italy) 0.12
9 Oscar Freire Gomez (Spain)
10 Janek Tombak (Estonia)
I think mountain 60 (i don´t know the DB but he should have a bit more than Boonen and hill 70, again, don´t know the DB, perhaps the same as Boonen). And Tombak is more of a classics rider than sprinter, his flat and cobbles perhaps a little better.

I think that im going to make a poll on that, wether to raise his stats or not

beagle
he should develop during first months

and you should have no problems to dominate with normal difficulty

Bosskardo
Yes, make a poll. Maybe with several options about which stats to raise. Maybe like:
1. nothing
2. mountain
3.mountain and hill
4. all above and cobble and sprint
i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz249/PCMkardo/TranscodedWallpaper.jpg

olabj
Gonna do that, just one little question, how do I put up a poll do I have to make anew tread or can it be done here

olabj
RESULTS AUSTRALIAN ITT CHAMPIONSHIPS
1 Evans-Silence
2 Rogers-Columbia
3 Meyer-Garmin
12 Dempster-Bourgas

RESULTS AUSTRALIAN RR CHAMPIONSHIPS
1 Rogers-Columbia
2 Evans-Silence
3 Gerrans-Cervelo

Tour de San Luis: Stage 2
Flat stage with one mountain sprint:
i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq256/olabj/mosptdsl.png
We got ourself in the break and took the mountain sprint which is great, but now on to the final sprint
i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq256/olabj/optreek.png
I found Tombak and Dempster in two good positions behind the Colavita and Columbia trains
i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq256/olabj/spurtst.png
Out of nowhere the Fuji train with Jesus Del Nero came and was by far the fastest one, with Dempster fading and Tombak finding himself blocked, things didn`t look so good for us
i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq256/olabj/spurtmdt.png
However Tombak managed to go around all the riders and end up behind Del Nero, he was now in a perfect position
i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq256/olabj/spml.png
Tombak lacked the power of going through so it ended with a nice second place for Tombak and a 4th for Dempster

Forgot to export:
Stage
1. Del Nero, Fuji
2. Tombak, Bourgas
3. Benitez, Fuji
4. Dempster, Borgas
5. Pipp, Bissell

General
1. Del Nero, Fuji
2. Dempster, Bourgas
3. Tombak, Bourgas

Points
1. Del Nero, Fuji
2. Tombak, Bourgas
3. Benitez, Fuji

Mountain
1. Hristov, Bourgas

Young
Dempster, Borugas

What do you guys define as Eastern Europe, I was thinking of these countries:
bulgaria
hungary
romania
moldova
ukraine
russia
belarus
estonia
latvia
lithuania
bosnia and croatia
I`m also wondering if I should put in Slovenia and Slovakia, Poland and Czech do anyone know if they are considered Eastern Europeans

Bosskardo
Most commonly Eastern Europe reffers to European countries that were under Soviet occupation. Like Baltic countries, Poland, Czech, Slovakkia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Hungary and Rumenia.
i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz249/PCMkardo/TranscodedWallpaper.jpg

olabj
Thats what I thought but just wanted to clairify it with someone else. That means, all the countries I`ve listed above will be targeted, of course I won`t let any big opportunity pass if I get the chance

beagle
disagree, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland are in Central Europe...and I think Slovenia and Hungary too.
