The Story of the Month awards have been dwindling in participation over the past few additions so it's time to change things up to spark the competition.
We are going with the classic poll voting system used for the '
yearly awards which means the use of two threads.
Vote-Ins will still be accepted by PM to Mresuperstar.
The summaries are also cut, but if all goes well this month then
I will make an attempt to bring them back for next month's competition.
Like always I present the nominations in alphabetical order...

I like the poll implementation system. That means I'll vote here for the first time ever!
And my vote goes to Trek, what an ending
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Good Luck to all concerned |

I welcome the new vote sytem. It was worth a try with the 5 points but overall I think one of the main issues was if a story didn't receive points from somebody it lost significantly ground in the competition. Everybody with one vote is fine and welcome.
I'd prefer it if the voting polls were not be seen until the voting has ended though.
Looks like Trek is coming to late, well-deserved honours.

My second nomination, thanks!
Funny to see I was the 'most productive' one in June.
