@sutty: It was an excellent result. I was surprised to see how easy he followed some very strong riders.
@Ollfardh: It's already very good so far indeed. Just 2 to go.
@all: I've experimented with some screen editing. Please tell me if you don't like it.

Noone seemed to mind when we sent 4 riders into the break. Only Jarsto followed.
Surprisingly, noone in the pack wanted to chase.
Eventually a chase starts. However, this does cost Kristoff and Hagen a lot of energy.
Eventually 5 riders catch up to the break. Laengen, Nordhaug, Rasch and Breen decide to push on, while Bystrom hangs on in the back.
Eventually we get a group of 10 riders. Since the pack has stopped working, it seems very likely the winner is in this group.
With 31kms to go the pack is even lapped. Also, the leader roles have been distributed in the team. Björn and Peter were feeling the strongest today, so one they would be our contenders for the win.
With 5km to go Björn goes for a final attack, while Peter is prepared for the sprint.
Under the banner he still has a minimal gap.
At the line
he hangs on! Noone is going to take this away from him. Peter wins the sprint for second to complete our party.

Taking both Norwegian and Albanian jerseys. Well done! Almost won the German one, so close for Heiko, but at least a good result for him.

Well, it worked earlier today...
M. Stevenson is the only one to follow.
Luckily for us, noone in the pack is willing to relay for longer than 10 seconds.
With 10kms to go Jonas and Ásgeirr up the pace in order to discourage attacks and prepare Kristian optimally.
With 5kms to go we set up a sprint train for Kristian.
With 2kms to go Djaja launches Kristian.
Under the banner Kristian sets off himself.
And the Swedish title is for him! Djaja hangs on for a second place.

Arvid, fantastic. Wearing that jersey will make him finally recognizeable in the peloton despite his small stature. Next time it's Peter's turn.

@TMM: Yeah, it's almost a shame they're over.
@Shonak: I don't think his NC will make much of a change in his visibility
@sutty: Once again! It was a very good NC here.
ING NEW SPONSOR IN THE CYCLING WORLD
Against many expectations, it's not Philips but ING that will take over the empty space Vacansoleil and DCM left by quitting the sponsorship. ING has signed a contract for 3 seasons already, and it seems likely the project will last longer. Daan Luijckx reacted very happily to this, saying 'ING is a very prominent company, which should stop us from having financial issues'.
The project ING is building up consists of a talent team, which means older riders are very likely to be the first to leave. ING has said 'the main goal is publicity and goodwill with a young, talented squad. A relegation to the ProContinental division is not a problem for us, as we want to keep up this project for the long term. Everyone who tries to reach the top, will no doubt have some trouble on the way, but we are confident we can get over these troubles'.
The first announcements for the new season have been made, as the contracts of Flecha and Leukemans won't be prolonged. Also, 2 riders from the development team will be riding for the team as of August 1. Johnnie Flodder and Peter de Groote have been selected to ride for Vacansoleil/ING and have received a contract until 2015.

Ooh, another one!
Johnnie is really happy with this signing, he hopes he can learn a lot from guys like Markus, Boeckmans, Feillu, Van Poppel, Van Poppel, Ligthart, Van Hummel..
He won't be sprinting much I guess
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

@Ollfardh: He can teach them a lot as well, after all, he is above every single one of them on the CQ-ranking
@sutty: It at least seems so.
@krisa: Yeah, it was a very nice result for us looking at the names he beat.
