Taeke is dominant on the climbs and takes a lead in the mountain classification.


Stage victory wasn't there for today's break. Taeke is the last to be reeled in, with 10kms to go.


With 5kms to go some sprint trains come to the front.


With 3kms to go Peter is pulling in front, while Johnnie has picked Pacheco's wheel.


Under the red kite Martynenko is looking very strong.



Johnnie proves his strength though and wins the stage.

In the downhill of the first climb, where Taeke got some free points, the break of today is formed. Taeke is off with Berezkin, for the second time.


Taeke takes the other points, on the 3rd cat. climb as well.


On the short climb after the intermediate sprint Peter Pal attacks!


With 10kms to go Peter is dropping the break, but the pack is approaching.


Peter isn't caught yet when the sprint trains set up.


With 1km to go Peter is not caught yet.


At the line

he takes it! Peter Pal wins stage 2 of the Tour de Korea.

Since no team feels like chasing and gets a rider in the break, we decide to send Björn to the front.


With 7kms to go Horton decides to attack from the break!


With 3kms to go only Stamsnijder seems to be able to come close.


Under the banner Stamsnijder is overtaking Horton.


Björn is approaching them from behind.



and passes them! He manages to take victory! The pack doesn't make the time limit.

1 man forms today's break. Tokuda is today's brave man.


With 30kms to go Dabrowski and Wilmann attack.


3kms later they are caught though.


With 13kms to go Tokuda is caught as well.


With 6kms to go Dabrowski attacks again.


With 5kms to go he is pulled back. A group of 11 splits off. Peter, Joep and Timothy are the 3 at the front.


With 2kms to go Averin, Baldo and Pacheco are dropped.


With 1.2kms to go Timothy attacks, Zaballa, Peter and Dabrowski follow.


With 500 meters to go Timothy is still leading, but Peter is closing in.


At the line

they make it a 1-2! Peter wins ahead of Timothy, who is obviously very satisfied with the team performance. As a bonus Joep comes 5th.
