@cio93: Thanks for noticing. Especially from someone who has propably the most talented squad in the game. It obviously lacks some top talents but i guess these are out of reach for CT. I think i have done a good job which should give my team a good future and with a few clever additions in the next year it can really be the ground for a long successful future.

Really like your squad, I had Willi on my shortlist, but couldn't fit him in this year. Expect my calls every transfer season from now on ;-)

@ Heine: Nice to hear that you like the squad. About Willi: You can try to get him but he will not be cheap But feel free to try and perhaps a good deal can be possible in the next years
@ Selwink: Till now I always copied the whole link and placed it between the [twitter][/twitter] icons and it went good. I will try next time to just use the numbers..

After coming again over the 15 rider minimum Team Evonik wants to present their squad for the next season. A lot of european talent can be find in the squad but also some good point scorer are included.
Simon Geschke | (28) | 76SP,74HI, 76 ACC |
| | Simon Geschke will be the star of our team in year 1. With his top speed and his ability to go over the hills he will be one of the strongest riders in the continental tour and I would not be surprised if he will end up inside the top ten of the individual rankings or even higher. He will be the key rider to fulfill our goals and he will be leader in nearly all of his races as our calendar is designed for his likes and dislikes. Grega Bole is the only rider in CT of a similar type and there will surely be a good rivalry after we were hugely interested in him, too. | |

Well, this will be one of the greatest rivalries in the division, i am sure! I hope Simon will get some great results (this includes all of his future 2nd places, behind Grega )

@admirschleck: Yeah it will be a great rivalry i hope. Especially, the fact that it was us two who were bidding on Bole does make it more interesting to follow now that his biggest rival is in my team. Now, I'm glad that you have got him as both Geschke & Bole would have perhaps been a bit too much and this allowed me to sign another expensive talent instead and because another team should be chasing in those flat/hill stages, too.

Undoubtedly two great additions to CT teams.
There are much better punchy sprinters in PCT this year, so spending more than 100k for any of these two could turn out as fail points wise.
Anyway great signing knockout and overall nice team, with some riders i would like to see in Metinvest.

I decided quite early to trade Geschke as I think he wouldn`t have done too well on PT level. I always liked the idea of him leading a German team again, so going into CT saw a better chance to do so. That said, I did not get a lot of other offers for him actually.
I hope he can again get ~ 5 stage wins and several other podiums and top 10s. On CT level eventually even taking his first GC win.
@Avin: There were a few last year as well. And still Geschke did well. He even did outsprint Bellis once after doing a lot of work for Bellis during the stage.

@ Gustavovskiy: There are already enough sprinters in PCT, so they are more worthy in CT. But yeah, he will be a great signing.
@ Avin Wargunnson: I believe that you like some of my riders after we meet more than once on Free Agent market..
@ roturn: Thanks for giving him to me. I have to admit that i was very doubtful to be able to sign him as i had only 14 points in goals but after some good transfer talks i am very thankful to you. And looking at the loanies i think we can say that both of us got a good deal

Sponsor Presentation #5: Turkish Airlines
Name: | Turkish Airlines | Industry: | Airline | Founded: | 1933 | Employees: | 18.000 | HQ: | Istanbul, Turkey | Other sponsoring: | K. Bryant, L. Messi, C. Wozniacki, BVB, Marseille, Aston Villa, Euro League, Golf | Main Interest : | Worldwide | Minor Interest : | Stars | Also interested in: | - |
Turkish Airlines is a very international airline which is in sport sponsering for a long time. They mostly sponsor super stars like Kobe Bryant or Lionel Messi but they also sponsor some football teams, the Euro League in football or a turkish golf competition. They want to sponsor trending teams and think that our cycling team has some nice potential. But unlike most other sponsors they don't care about the rider's nationality so we happily signed an agreement with them which makes the flights much cheaper for us.

Team Presentation Part II
An important possibility is to loan in some talented young guns form other teams. We really used it and here are the riders that will only be part of our squad for one year:
Guillaume Boivin | (25) | 74SP,76ACC,68HI |
| | We are glad that Guillaume will join us for from canadian team RBC Pro Cycling for one year. He wants to develop himself here while being a valuable leadout. He will race a lot for Simon Geschke as he is able to survive the hills like few sprinters on this level. Next year he will return to his team as we will have new talents replacing him then already. |
Christian Mager | (22) | 70HI,67MO |
| | Behind the eyes of the press a lot of transfer talks with his team Puma took place as we wanted to buy him from the german PCT team. Unluckily, we could not find an agreement for a permanent transfer but now we are even more proud to present him as part of our squad for the next season. He is already our second strongest rider on the big mountains so he will have some freedom when we hit them and perhaps he can even get a KoM or young rider jersey this season... | |
| | Arnaud Grand will be loaned in from Rothaus - Aegon. He will be an important helper for Dupont on the cobbled races and we hope that he develops fine before returning to his main team. |
Alexander Edmondson | (21) | 68SP |
| | After allowing Geschke to move to us we were very thankful for Rothaus so we took young australian Edmondson for one year into our squad. We hope that he will make a big jump in development. For us, he will mostly used as the first rider who has to work at the beginning of a stage and he will not have much freedom at all. |

Sponsor Presentation #6: MAN
Name: | MAN SE | Industry: | Automotives (Truck ) | Founded: | 1758 | Employees: | 47.000 | HQ: | Munich, Germany | Other sponsoring: | 13 Bundesliga clubs, DTM, Truck Racing | Main Interest : | Germany | Minor Interest : | Worldwide | Also interested in: | Baltic |
MAN is part of the Volkswagen universum. They are experts for making team busses as they produce team busses for 13 of the 18 Bundesliga clubs and therefore, we contacted them to also produce our team busses. They will of course ensure that the busses are not too big for the finish banner as some other producers obviously do not care about that. They want a mostly German squad but will also be satisfied with a few Baltic riders as they want to get better into that market.

Hankook is known for producing Tires. Their main interest in sponsoring our team is a good visible spot at our jersey. Of course, they will also deliver our team cars and busses with the needed tires.

Sponsor Presentation #9: Jakstar Jerseys
Name: | Jakstar Jerseys | Industry: | Graphics & Design | Founded: | 2012 | Employees: | 1 | HQ: | Gold Coast, QLD, Australia | Other sponsoring: | In-n-Out - Auchan Cycling Team, Euskaltel - Bavaria | Main Interest : | - | Minor Interest : | Australia | Also interested in: | - | | |
Jakstar Jerseys is the lable of a (relative) new promising designer who was willing to design our new jersey. His task was to make a jersey that is remarkable and is easy to see in the peleton and it should remind to the other sponsoring activity of our main sponsor Evonik. He did not wanted to take any impact on our roster but we promised him to have at least one australian in our squad. We reached this promise by loaning Alexander Edmondson in. We are very proud for our jersey for this season and we now want to make it public. Here it is!

Good to know that loaning in Edmondson helped you to get a jersey.
So the leader jersey it is. |

Team Presentation Part III
A team needs some experienced riders to lead a team and here they are:
Timothy Dupont | | (27) | 75SP,77ACC,72COB |
| | Dupont is another strong sprinter in our squad. He will often act as last leadout man but he will also lead himself in weaker sprinter fields. Beside his sprinting abilities he is also known for his strenght on the cobbles and combine this two strengths and you have a nice point scoring option. | |
Gert Joeaar | | (27) | 75TT,75PRL, 71HI |
| | Gert Joeaar is our strongest time triallists. You will not see him winning often but you should see him finishing constantly in the top ten. And as he is stronger then most of the other TTer he can also get into the top ten in short stage races. | |
Aleksei Saramotins | (32) | 75SP,71COB,79REC |
| | Saramotins is an important domestique for our squad. He will be an important piece in our leadout as he has a good sprint and goes well over cobbles and hills and can also be part of our team time trial squad. Together with his experience, his allround skill set will be very worthy but dont expect him to score points hisself. |
Florian Bissinger | | (26) | 71HI,70TT,73ACC |
| | Bissinger is another rider with a very allround skill set. He likes to join an attack and can be a worthful domestique to Geschke. If he is allowed to join a break he could well likely bring in some valuable points as his sprint finish is very decent, too. | |
Eloy Teruel | (32) | 77SP,73ACC |
| | Teruel will be our main man for the panflar races. He has only a one year contract and it is likely that he will move to another team next year. | |
