Jesleyh , Shonak and emre99 - Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see him racing his first race in this league. Best guys are actually most experienced ones (since it's their 2nd or even 3rd season in this league), so it's going to be hard. But Marko is ready for that type of challenge!

TheManxMissile - Ah , it's okay then. And i have 3 with 10+ pages, as well. And even one of them are 20+ so i am better. (kidding)

All - Just finished editing database, it took me more than 2 hours! As my (as well as Quintanas ) birthday is tommorow (in half of an hour) i would like to make report of first Marko's race on it. Yeah, i'm weird i know.

Shonak - That's what i thought. Yeah, it may be that, who knows.

547984 - You could read some previous posts, instead of commenting that you have no idea how this works, just to get one more Bauers episode.

Anyway, i'll avoid Career mode in first few season, but i'll definitely need it in few years (since it's 2009 now, in-game).

And , that long-awaited day came. It's my debut in this league, and i am so excited, since race is going to start in few minutes. I'll now show you profile of this classic and go to race. Expect detailed report after the race.

This race is categorized as flat, but there are alot of hills. I will give chance to some hilly-sprinters and all-arounders there. My todays role will be to protect and lead-out N. Čupić, teams best sprinter. That's it for now, race starts in 5 minutes, i have to go...





Here i am , we just finished the race and i can't describe how good it was. And here's the race report, as well.

From the early start of the race, Miosavljević , Rožajac (NP) , Vuković (Metalac) and Hodžić (Red Star) made a move and decided to create breakaway. As our guy was in that group, that meant we don't have to relay today. It was nice to hear that.



I enjoyed beautiful nature of my home country, since i didn't have to do any work, at least not at that moment. I got alot of new friends today, as well!



As expected, Partizan and AS chased and finally caught that breakaway about 10kms to go. Kotur (Partizan) , one of biggest favourites for todays win, unexpectedly made a move just when all guys were in peloton, once again. He looked so strong!



That meant i finally had to do some work. 3km to go was sign for sprint-trains. As my teammates were tired, i had to start the train and to be leadout guy. It was big pressure on me.



Finally , at last kilometer, peloton caught Kotur. Main sprinters were ready and they started the sprint. Čupić was in great position, but can he get win?

Metalac duo was absolutely amazing in close sprint today, so they got 1-2!



Čupić was somewhere at front, probably finishing somewhere between 3rd and 6th place. Uh,oh - i'll have to check out results board.

It was good race for me, considering that i am more climber than sprinter, but still i got 6 points. I am happy! Now , i have to rest properly. See ya next time.

emre99 , sutty68, FonsDeSpons and Faillu - It was great, since i already said that Marko is going to show his real face when hilly classics/stages come and that he will get "only" leadout role at flat stages.

Shonak - Actually, Nikola gone out of leadout a bit too late. He had capacity to win at least 1 of this Metalac duo, but it was late. However, he has few chances more this season, next one is at next race , actually.

aidanvn13 - Thanks, mate! I am trying to make it unique and readable , but to enjoy it at the same time, and it seems like i am doing it right , at least 'till now. I'm glad that you're enjoying it aswell, and it's always great to have someone like you as "close follower".

Jesleyh - Yup. Gameplay was my biggest worry and it seems like PCM is listening to me this time. I hope it's going to continue like this.

10 days passed since my first race in colours of Borac Cycling Team and i didn't update this 'till that. Well, i just got serious reason to update you about current in-team situation.

We trained alot in last few days, especially me and Nikola. We were working on our sprinting train, about timing and some acceleration. Everything seemed perfect until, after few tries of sprint, he crashed from his bike. That was awful moment.



After we quickly took him to hospital doctor did his job, and said that Čupić broke his collarbone and have to wait at least a month before start racing again. We was shocked for few moments, but we was thankful that it wasn't something bigger and more serious. Now, this story has 2 sides. I will be leader for next race, but i definitely didn't want to gain leaders role by this way.

Anyways, few days after his surgery, he could go home. We visited him almost every day and we could enjoy some cycling in that time, as well.



We had some time to watch Amstel Gold Race 2009 edition and it was great. Altough we cheered for Kroon, Ivanov got the win. I also learned alot from that race, since all of you knows that it's hilly race and i'm rider for that terrain.

We'll see if i can apply that to my few next races. That's it for now, see ya!

Shonak and sutty68- We expect Nikola back on road at next road race (which is in about a month). Yep, it's classic blessing in disguise. Marko definitely "profited" with that Nikola's injury. We'll see how will he handle the Leader's pressure.

Uh-uh, pressure! I got few minutes free since i just did pre-race training and i decided to share this with you. I am so excited about this race, since i am going to be leader, as you already know. Terrain is quite hilly but it's still categorized as flat. That should help me, but i don't know how to feel right now. I'll try to relax a bit now, and will finish this post after race.





Aaand here i am! It was definitely exciting race. At the start, one of my best friend , O. Hodžić (Red Star) made an attack with J. Janković (Metalac) and F. Vrcić (Novi Pazar). It was looking good.



Gap never got higher than 2 minutes and peloton caught them surpsingly quick, just after 25 kilometers. I felt that pace and i knew that is going to happen , but i had no idea WHY guys did that. However, race continued.

Some guys that were listed as favourites attacked as well. At that point, Borac (as team) decided to get some action done, and didn't let them go.



As they tried at least 5 times to get some advantage and create breakaway it made me happy. I knew i would have bigger chances if they're tired But, after some time, my guys got exhausted as well. It was terrible moment for that. Luka Kotur (Partizan) somehow noticed that and decided to do a Cancellara - attack without getting out of saddle. That was perfect decision in perfect time , for him.



He definitely struggled alot, but he kept the advantage over 2 minutes. As finish was closer and closer it was getting clear that he's going to win this.



Okay, 1 fight is lost, let's try to get another one - to win group sprint. We set up sprint and guy did really good job. Red army was ready to strike once again!



Meanwhile , local photographers took some photos of L. Kotur who was clearly happy with his win, since he celebrated it in style. If only i got his place! But it's well deserved. That guy was absolutely the best today.



We crossed finish line about 2 minutes after him. At the start of the sprint, i got blocked for few seconds, which was enough to keep me away from podium. But finish 4th in this type of race, makes me happy as well. I think i did good job, if nothing else.



Dragić and Kuzmić finished in front of me. Shame i got blocked, but that's cycling.

Ye! 4th at League Rankings even before hilly terrains. This smells good! Sadly, i have to log out now. Need to get some post-race ride and i am going to sleep then. I feel so empty right now.
