I am going to state for the tenth time that as long as the downhill stat is respectable I am fine with any drop in stats.

@547984: Downhill just isn't as sexy as the other stats.
@Jakstar22: Only 1 EXP was available this time. Certainly more to come as he continues to train for the upcoming 2017 season.

Training Journal - Entry #2 - July 27, 2016
Sorry it's been a few weeks since my last journal entry,
but I'm happy to report that I'm still training regularly.
Yesterday I even cranked out 65 miles (in the rain).
Also I get to see Chloe everyday because I hand the kids off to her
before going out on my training ride. Very clever on my part because
she is starting to take notice that I'm serious about making a return to cycling.
And I think it could help me win her back.
I even got her gift, hopefully I didn't pull the trigger to quick.
"I'm working my way back, for you and the rest of my family."
Too sappy? Probably. But she did smile and give me a hug.
So I must by doing something right.
You guys are probably tired of hearing me talking about Chloe all the time,
so here (what you really want): The 2015 Grand Tour and Monument Results.
That's enough information for now.

My training is in your hands during my career.
After each training session I will earn EXP Points.
A maximum of 3 EXP can be rewarded.
You guys get to decided where I put those stat gains to use.
All you have to do is comment on which category you want
1 of the stat gains to go (Ex. Mountain, Sprint, Flat, etc.)
Each member can only say one category for themselves.
And it will go until all the points are used up.
If you have any questions about my training, leave a question below.

I would like Travis to go with +1 TT which goes with some of the track work on lone training on the road he has done in Kansas.

@547984: You got your downhill upgrade.
@Jakstar22: Motivation is high when you first start training, the real test is yet to come. A month from now we might see a different Travis.
@Jesleyh: Here you go. This is what you really wanted to see.
@Smowz: Long time no see, thanks for stopping by.
@Matthew21rp: Travis is more likely to get shot and killed than to win the 2017 TdF (or even be racing in the TdF for the matter).

Training Journal - Entry #3 - August 10, 2016
I had my first setback today, and it wasn't even my fault.
I was out on the road riding my usually route when
out of nowhere a car sneaked up behind me.
As I swung around to give him the middle finger...
(Hey, he almost hit me. He deserved the finger.
It was almost an encore to this moment.)
...he dumped a can of beer on me. "Enjoy the drink you cheater."
I guess people aren't willing to forgive or forget in my hometown.
He ruined my Desigual jersey and succeed in ending my training day short.
What a prick. At least Chloe was sympathetic when she heard what happened.
And I used the extra time (from cutting my ride short) to finish the 2015 review.
I take that back. I still have a lot of training to do so,
I didn't really have time to show the rider transfers but there are
the interesting new teams that are making their way into the peloton.
Just wish I could have taken part (but a ban is a ban), hopefully in 2017.
At the end of 2016 season I promise to recap the team squads.
Oh and I forgot to mention the 2015 World Championships in my last journal,
so Road Race was won by Greg Van Avermaet and the Time Trial by Peter Velits.
