"The success of our team is based on continuous work with a new generation of cyclists[...]With these initial successes and the visible potential that our riders are showing, our expectations and aims are of course also rising.[...] At the same time we will never lose sight of our philosophy of developing young riders and maintaining healthy growth, because this work is [our] contribution to a clean future and the improvement of cycling."
Ralph Denk, Founder of Team NetApp - Endura
Team Net App - Endura is a german cycling team, currently holding a license for Pro Continental status. It's UCI code is TNE and the team's colours are blue, black and white. Team NetApp - Endura was founded by Ralph Denk in Autumn 2009 and since has been growing to become one of the most competitive, recognized teams in the Peloton. We have quickly garnered attention by achieving Pro Continental status in 2011.
Our sponsor is American IT-company NetApp, and they have been ever since a foundation of our success, making all this possible. Co-sponsor is scottish company Endura Racing since the start of 2013, after Team NetApp and their former team Endura Racing decided to merge. Also, Endura Racing provides us with stylish racing jerseys, while NetApp provides us with their quality IP knowledge in handling all that fanzy computer stuff. Go check them out!
Team NetApp – Endura is an active member of the MPCC (French abbreviation stands for “Mouvement Pour un Cyclisme Crédible”, English: “Movement for Credible Cycling”). The MPCC and its members fight for a credible and most importantly a clean cycling. All teams who are a member of the MPCC comply with the UCI ethical code. In addition those teams agreed on further anti doping rules that go beyond the current strict UCI- and team-related programs. These self-imposed rules include among others that a rider is not recruited if he was banned for 6 months or longer, or if a rider needs Corticosteroids for therapeutic use he will not start in any race for 8 days. Please find the entire rules on the MPCC’s website.
-The Blocks -
As a german & british team one of our main goals is and has always been to provide a great enviroment and professional set-up for our talents and professional cyclists from these regions. Stand-out rider like Paul Voss are equally important as promising talents such as Dermot Walker or Scott Thwaites, and we try to support both regions on a professional level to further our nations success and understanding.

- The Duos-
Since two is always better than one, we like it that many of our riders have one of their compatriots at their side, something that is particularly helpful for their training rides. Established riders as Leopold König or Jan Barta from Czech Republic or the young swedish duo Heimdal Hägg & Alexander Wetterhall are great parts and additions to our team, and we hope that they understand NetApp - Endura soon as their home.

-All Around The World -
Team NetApp - Endura embraces its international approach and we always look out for promising talents in countries everywhere in the world. Cycling is a sport that matters and these riders clearly matter to us, like Greece's biggest hope Ioannis Dimitriou or Austrian Daniel Schorn, showing us that we can be an attractive team for many cyclists from all around the world.

-Staff-
Our staff consists of some of the finest, most profound and respected professionals in the sport. Founder Ralph Denk owns the team, but prefers to be a Directeur Sportif. New Team Manager is Peter Luttenberger since about February-March 2013, following the sudden disappearance of Michael Boogerd. Marvin the Paranoid Android has been signed as mental coach for the riders, while Journalist X will be our man for all stage reports and reporting duties.
One-day races
Australian Road Race Championship, Zakkari Dempster
German Road Race Championship, Paul Voss
Mexican Road Race Championship, Jose Alberto Juarez
The UCI contacted Peter Luttenberger that we might get a win soon. While we are super-happy about the prospect of one of our guys raising his arms into the air, we may see foul-play and swindle behind this gesture and that the UCI fixes its races. Journalist X will look into this matter.
Team NetApp - Endura, beholders of truth & virtueEdited by Shonak on 10-01-2014 14:21

Tour de San Luis: At least someone does his job around here...
It isthe first race of the season and Boogerd has done something right it seems before he jumped ship. After many hours of deciphering the passwords I finally obtained the first results of San Luis for Team NetApp - Endura. So hurray for my hacker abilities. And it is quite pleasant as our first (and so far only) goal is closed to being fulfilled. After 5 out of 7 stages we are close to getting our Top 10 result. Actually, our chances are even better because we two have riders in the Top 10. Leopold König is currently placed 6th and Cesare Benedetti 9th. Surely, this can't go wrong anymore. Benedetti had luck with a break, while König showed a great ride. However, he already had a gap of about 4 minutes to overall winner Joaquím Rodríguez, and honestly, that's just a bit too much for our taste. We will see how the other 2 stages play out but we are confident that we won't mess this up.
We hope that in the end of the day we can proudly announce that our first goal has been fulfilled. Two more stages to go though for that to happen.
Official Confirmation: Peter Luttenberger is pissed...

We sent a squad of strong, fast riders to the Volta Limburg Classic in hopes to obtain a Top 10 ranking. We have speculated for a bunch sprint, but also had good riders for a breakaway at the starting line. In the end, even that was not enough. Our total of 8 riders failed at accomplishing the easy goal.
An early split occurs in the Volta Limburg Classic. We can see here a total of 4 NetApp - Endura riders getting dropped. It is utterly bewildering how they couldn't back. While none of our riders was present in the breakaway, the team struggled throughout the race.
The high pace in the entire race grants Iglinskiy a victory for Astana. However, in the sprint for second (and the Top 10 rankings) only a handful of riders even compete. Our guys are dropped. We don't know where they are or what they are doing. Jan Bartra comes in 43th, after over 16 minutes. He is riding like it's some sort of holiday ride...

During the team debriefing Peter Luttenberger shows the first signs of large disappointment and frustration. "See guys, that was just not good enough at all. If we had someone at least trying... than I could understand. But this was a refusal to work from you guys. I am incredible disappointed. You knew how important this was and you messed it up completely."
As a punishment and in hopes of further motivation, to rescue what may already be lost (a good first, early part of the season), Team NetApp - Endura has hired Marvin The Paranoid Android as "mental coach". He will patrol our hall of fame & victory. He will stay there when we need to improve and be a sign of frustration. This frustration should turn Team NetApp - Endura riders into true furies, who will try everything in the future to get back at the peloton and snatch victories right and left.
He is nice to look at, just don't talk to him for too long. You might end up attempting suicide.
Signed,
X

It's great to see a new manager at the helm here. We were beginning to get frustrated with the lack of direction and help but hopefully you have what it takes to get us moving forward in the future.
Sorry about Limburg boss. I'm far too young to be doing anything in a race like that but just look at my performance in Malaysia as proof of my potential.
Dermot Walker
Manager of Bunzl - Centrica
ICL's World Tour Champions and Talented Bottlers
Truthfully, we had hoped you would show a similiar stellar performance as in Malaysia, but obviously the race went unexpected tough, thus destroying our hopes for a bunch sprint. But our back-up plan with Jan Barta failed too eventually. To pinpoint this failure on one man alone would be a mistake of course; the team management holds itself as accountable for it as every participated rider should do.
Of course, we still see great potential in you and we hope that future races go more our way. As easy as it sounds: We just have to keep going and work on ourselves, and then in seemingly no-time we will fulfill our season objectives and collect wins.
"It’s a little bit scary when Contador attacks." - Tommy V
So, even though Oman was raced before I went out to Malaysia, I was sworn to secrecy on the results for some reason. But I can now tell you that I picked up my first win for NetApp!! I attacked right out of the start and only one guy came with me. I think his name was Verne Troyer, but to be honest he looked much bigger in real life than he did in Austin Powers!
I was absolutely flying and my legs were hurting so much at the end but I was just on one of those days and the likes of BMC, Saxo Bank and Lampre couldn't get near me. I easily beat Troyer in the sprint (maybe his little legs couldn't produce the power) and was still a whole minute ahead of the peloton at the line!
What a start to the race in the Middle East; a nice visit to the podium to collect all sorts of jerseys and applause. I could get used to that! I hope to be able to keep the leader's jersey for a few days but there are a few climbs near the end of most stages here, so I will need the whole team to help me.
Now you understand why I attacked at the very start of the opening stage in Langkawi. Unfortunately, lightning clearly doesn't strike twice.
Dermot Walker
Manager of Bunzl - Centrica
ICL's World Tour Champions and Talented Bottlers
We had a terrible time deciphering the Arabic Signs but when we finally got to the result sheets and after some convincing, Marvin The Paranoid Android agreed to translate it for us. Despite his monotonous, depressed voice his words made us cheer in an instant when he said that Dermot Walker won the first stage of Tour of Oman!
It’s a shame that Walker wasn’t allowed to tell us but apparently it had something to do with the TV coverage. It’s good to know that they want to keep excitement for when the race gets reported in TV, but honestly – we could just live fine without being the plaything of Oman and the UCI.
Obviously because the picture is the most beautiful picture we have seen all season so far, we have to show it again. Congratulations to Dermot Walker from the entire Team NetApp – Endura staff back home. If you want a more detailed view on how he was feeling, visit his blog entry. It was a thrilling ride from him.
With an early attack right at the start he set himself away. Together with De Troyer from AJW, the two riders fought against the sun and the peloton. The pace by Lampre, BMC, Saxo Tinkoff and Bardiani put both riders quite with their backs against the walls. Not much time for tactical plays, which obviously was in Walker’s favor. At 5 kilometers, Walker attacked and brought home the stage win ahead of his fellow breakaway companion De Troyer. The peloton arrived 1 minute later, thus Walker gained with some lead the leader’s jersey. At that point, I was already near mental breakdown, cheering as if we had just won Continental Championship, so loud and eagerly I lost my voice...
However, the good news didn’t stop there: On the next day Scott Thwaites got close to yet another win for the team. Though Julien El Fares of Sojasun took the stage win 52 seconds ahead of the peloton, Scott Thwaites was the strongest sprinter in the pack and got 2nd place. If he hadn’t been for El Fares, we might could have celebrated our second stage win already. But hey, things are looking good that the guys will pull at least one more off at the Tour of Oman.
The stage win by Walker also fulfills our first goal of the season! This should put our sponsors a bit to rest for now, after we have gotten quite some criticism over the last couple of weeks – rightfully probably. In any case, just excuse us for now, we are going out to get wasted…
Signed,
X
"It’s a little bit scary when Contador attacks." - Tommy V
No no no, there were politically motivated riots, the Tracker knows the thruth.
And congrats on getting you're goal there, not the easiest one to achieve.
Okay, so I have used my super calcutation skills to get everything down by now. Thanks again to Heimdal Hägg for his support. Again, the offer still stands to become my secretary but unfortunately for me, it's probably more fun to be a pro cyclist here at Team NetApp - Endura.
Currently the guys with the most race days are by far José Mendes (34 Race Days) ahead of Ralf Matzka (29) and Blaz Jarc (22). Now if that were a competition, which it really isn't (I promise), Mendes and Matzka would certainly get a prize. But for now, they will just participate in less races. Their huge number of race days this early on of course comes at some expense. Andreas Schillinger, Bartosz Huzarski and Michael Schwarzmann have only raced 8 days so far and thus will be very active in the next part of the season. As for the other riders; we have a good mix of each. Leopold König has about 21 days and we will see how much he races in Part 2 of the Season as soon as we know which Applications for the World Tour Events are accepted. Requests for the upcoming races will be open for any rider as soon as we hit officialy the break.
Yours,
X

I am very honoured you have selected me to ride the continental championship. Not only shall I try to put Greece back on the map, I will also try to show off the NetApp-Endura jersey. Greek cycling is currently under financial pressure, so I have decided to donate half my income to the sport federation of Greece, in order to keep cycling alive.
