Form - Sprint (x2)
@Jesleyh: It's a learning experience. Every stage can't be a good stage. Well, unless your Chris Froome. Then all bets are off.
@felix_29: Height and weight are off limits, don't mess with Newton's diet or genetics. Thanks for stopping by, haven't seen you around in a while.

My last race before I can go back home and see Chloe.
My injuries from the Tour de Beauce have scabbed over but I'm still a little sore.
Getting Frank Pipp to the finish would be plan A.
If that falls through then I get the honor of being plan B.
Odds makers believe it's going to be Taylor Phinney vs. the rest of the field.
--- *** --- *** --- *** ---
Tennessee is the home of the 2013 USA National Championships Road Race.
Already after the first time up the hill I'm caught out of position
and have to fight my way back to the peloton. Think that's bad?
Well, Pipp is gone for good already and wouldn't make it back.
Fast forward to the last time up the climb, I have put in a small attack and
have positioned myself into the E2 group. But the peloton is closing in on us.
The next greatest face of American cycling goes down! No I'm talking about me.
Surely, Joseph Dombrowski will have a few more seasons to try and win this.
The same goes for me. I'm tailed off the front group with 15kms to go.
Stamina, recovery, and resistance just isn't good enough.
I finish as the best Bissell rider though, in 26th place.
Betters lose a lot of money today as Taylor Phinney does beat the field.
No more BMC Red and Black as he upgrades to Red, White, and Blue.

+2 EXP for my first Pro National Championship appearance.
No form because my next race is a long ways away.
Spoiler
My training is now in your hands for the rest of my career.
After each race I can receive both EXP and Form Points.
EXP is a permanent stat gains while Form is temporary (the next race update).
A maximum of 3 EXP and 5 Form can be rewarded after each stage.
After any stage I receive EXP or Form points
you guys get to decided where I put those stat gains to use.
All you have to do is comment on which category you want
1 of the stat gains to go (Ex. Mountain, Sprint, Flat, etc.)
The EXP points are used up first followed by the Form.
Each member can only say one category for themselves.
And it will go until all the points are used up.
If you have any questions about my training, leave a question below.
It looks confusing at first but it's rather simple,
and this will be the only method for me to progress talent wise.
Meeting with DS Glen Mitchell
After the race Glen Mitchell pulls me aside to talk about my contract.
"Travis, let me make this as clear as possible.
Bissell wants you back next year. Your great guy, teammate,
and you continue to get better as a cyclist.
However, we aren't going to be able to offer as much as other teams.
We have a verbal agreement from Caleb Ewan that he is coming to
Bissell next season. The means less money in the budget for you.
It's nothing personal."
Phillip Gaimon walks onto the team bus and interrupts our conversation,
"Um, Travis. There's someone outside that says they know you..."

Well in real life, Phil Gaimon signed onto Garmin.
In the game, Travis had an opportunity to ride for Garmin, so JV might be interested? |

EXP - Downhill, Time Trial
@547984: Nope not Chloe.
@welker3257: I think it's...
@Ian Butler: I agree it would be nice to see them together, but can Travis afford to turn down the extra wages now he has a baby on the way? I guess you guys will decide when that time comes.
@bennettWPS: I don't think JV knows him. Some nice logic though.
@sutty68: First, congrats on your Story of the Month win. Second, I wish I could take your Stamina point but you were a tad to late. A boost there would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, wonder what Travis' decision will be. At least there are quite some American teams in the peloton
Though riding with Ewan is awesome as well

I left the team bus in confusion, who in Tennessee knows me?
"You son of a bitch! Where is my daughter!?! I knew I would find you here."
*Run! Please don't kill me... Why didn't Chloe tell him?*

Hmm, an interesting plot twist, but don't worry, if he shoots you, then he goes to prison, so he probably won't depends how angry/stupid he is, I'm guessing very!
Either way, I wonder what will happen next. |

Chloe's dad takes a lunging swing at my face... he connects.
The momentum of his punch knocks me against one of the team cars.
My right arm smashes through the side window setting off the car alarm.
But before he can wind up and connect on another powerful punch
the site security forcefully wrestles him to the ground.
The next thing I know Glen Mitchell is rushing me to emergence room.
"Travis, did you know that guy?"

What an idiot of a dad. He should at least know his daughter is getting taken care of. You don't hunt down the kid who is going to be the father of your grandchild.
