Thanks, guys! More previews - with some detailed stories on the most important teams - will follow!
Budget is still looking strong, yes. With Anderson, Horgan and their depth, they can be on top again.
Off-topic: Budget just did a 1-2-3 in the real Melbourne to Warrnambool classic! With Anderson, who won this race in this story, taking 2nd place

@Froome: Thanks! Looking forward to racing, too!
@sutty: Will definitely change some stats thanks to this recent real-life success, so it will have an impact on Budget's success in this story
@all: I will start with the most important team's previews! Some shirts may be changed til the season's start, but that depends on "my" shirtmaker(s)
Budget Forklifts [img-r]https://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x323/tsmoha/Teams_Budget_zps0c7c24f2.png[/img-r] Team Ranking 2013/ 1st (2010 points)
Best Individual/ Mark O'Brien (2nd, 625 points)
New riders/ Sam Horgan (-)
Jacob Kauffmann (-)
Joshua Prete (-)
Jordan Kerby (Jayco/AIS)
Michael Vink
Watch for/ Jack Anderson - The 2013 Melbourne to Warrnambool champion made a huge step in the final weeks of last season. He's rated as one of most promising riders for 2014!
Sam Horgan - The first of two new Kiwis for Budget. Probably one of the best timetrialists in the NRS this year and capable of scoring valuable points for Budget's mission to defend the team's title!
Roster 2014/
Alex Wohler completed a great "Warrny-Shipwreck" double for Budget late in the season. He may not be the one, who replaces Mark O'Brien (Euride Racing) to go for individual's NRS-title, but could be an important key to the team's success!
Huon Salmon-Genesys Wealth Advisers Pro Cycling Team [img-r]https://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x323/tsmoha/Teams_Genesys_zpse09fdb9f.png[/img-r] Team Ranking 2013/ 2nd (1771 points)
Best Individual/ Jack Haig (3rd, 547 points)
New riders/ Anthony Giacoppo (-)
Brenton Jones (-)
Joseph Cooper (-)
Watch for/ Nathan Earle - Earle struggle to fullfill his high expectations as 6th in the NRS last year. Teammate Haig definitely proved that he's a potential new leader for the team, but Earle is top-motivated for a (maybe) final try to claim the title.
Anthony Giacoppo - Giacoppo, 2nd in the NRS behind Davison in 2012, is back in Australia to compete with the very best sprinters! Will be interesting to see, how he performs in a series, that becomes stronger every year!
Roster 2014/
Jack Haig made the NRS-podium thanks to huge win at the prestigious Grafton to Inverell classic! The now 21 years old Victorian based talent is ready for more and should even improve in 2014!

@sutty: Yap!
@baia: That's exactly what i wanted to do so i won't reveal the list of helpers for the planners, of course you guys don't have to hide for which team you're cheering for, though.

search2retain p/b health.com.au [img-r]https://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x323/tsmoha/Teams_search2_zps210505e2.png[/img-r] Team Ranking 2013/ 3rd (1552 points)
Best Individual/ Neil Van der Ploeg (1st, 830 points)
New riders/ Tobin Angus (-)
Oliver Kent-Spark (Target Trek)
Watch for/ Cameron Bayly - Finished 3rd (Tour of Tasmania) and 4th (Capital Tour) in two tough stage races last year and may aim for the Top-10 in the NRS rankings after his 14th place in 2013.
Roster 2014/
Defending NRS champion Neil Van der Ploeg is obviously one of the top-favorites next season. His outstanding second half of last year's campaign made him win the title, that he now wants to repeat!
Drapac Professional Cycling [img-r]https://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x323/tsmoha/Teams_Drapac_zpsa9e4eaf2.png[/img-r] Team Ranking 2013/ 4th (1541 points)
Best Individual/ Luke Davison (4th, 544 points)
New riders/ Matthew Clark (Charter Mason)
Robbie Hucker (-)
William Walker (-)
Watch for/ Matt Clark - Joining Drapac after spending a promising year in the development team Charter Mason (13th NRS overall, with less races than most of the Top-15)! Most promising climber behind O'Brien and a great addition for the team.
Roster 2014/
Luke Davison had some tough luck last year, losing out on the NRS podium by 3 points in the final race of the season! The champion of 2012 proved his speed, even though he couldn't dominate like he did a year before.

I see Drapac has had one bad race planing last season... stronger then Search2Retain and didn´t managed to get better results... maybe this season will be better..

@sutty: At least Drapac and Davison himself will hope so, too
@baia: Given that race planning is more important this year, Drapac should hope for some better luck this time But they also do have more options with the arrival of both Walker and Clark! Stage races were the biggest problem for Drapac in 2013 and that could change now!

Sorry for the lack of updates, but i won't be able to put the last previews online before tomorrow evening! But i've more or less finished the work on the new DB and should be able to kick the season off with the National championhips by the weekend!
Stay tuned!

@sutty/baia: Thanks, mates! Your support is always a pleasure And nice new avatar, baia!
@all: So I will put the last few previews online today (and one last with new teams tomorrow) and then prepare for the start of the 2014 season!
Satalyst Giant Racing Team [img-r]https://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x323/tsmoha/Teams_satalyst_zpse28caad5.png[/img-r] Team Ranking 2013/ 5th (1367 points)
Best Individual/ Adam Semple (5th, 467 points)
New riders/ Craig Cooke (-)
Jonathon Bolton (-)
Watch for/ Paul Van der Ploeg - Brother of the current NRS champion Neil and a similar strong allrounder. Had a pretty good start into last season by winning the National Herald Sun Tour, but suffered from an injury later in the year.
Roster 2014/
Adam Semple took out 2013's opener - the Mersey Valley Tour - and looked liked a real threat for the NRS contention in the first half of the season. Couldn't really hold on to his great shape later, but finished 5th overall and should be a contender in 2014, too!
Euride Racing [img-r]https://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x323/tsmoha/Teams_Euride_zps8d36e59f.png[/img-r] Team Ranking 2013/ 9th (571 points)
Best Individual/ Harry Carpenter (25th, 101 points)
New riders/ Mark O'Brien (Budget)
Russell Gill (-)
Tom Kaesler (-)
Watch for/ Mark O'Brien - Of course! O'Brien took out three stage races last year, more than anyone else and will be top-motivated to go for the NRS-title after two podium-finishes in the last two seasons.
Alex Edmondson - Didn't really show his potential in 2013, but according to his statements in the off-season, he made a huge step forward to become a Van der Ploeg-style force in hillier flat stages.
Roster 2014/
Harry Carpenter, 25th in the NRS last year, could be a key factor for Euride this season. His stage-win in the Great South Coast Tour showed his potential and maybe he will be more dangerous as a co-captain behind O'Brien.

Thanks .. O´Brien seems to be a strong rider, Euride just has to gain with him... big loss for Budget..
