People, people, people. He just said he was looking to enter a lengthy Time Trial next, so why didn't you give 2 TT form points? |

Yeah, those form points were pretty dumb. TT is the stat that matters for 90% for the next race

Apologies! Stuffed the points delegation too!! Why I didn't do TT I will never know.
I have now officially been inspired and I am going to start my own story after reading this!
I'm just wondering with regards to editing the stats in the database, how are you doing this throughout your career. Obviously you mentioned at the moment that you are doing individual stages etc but I am just wondering how you will go about increasing stats when you do start your career?
Do you have to exit the game and enter stats into editor and then play again? Also if you have a save game and you go and change stats in the editor will these actually change in the save game or would you need to start over?
Hope this makes sense! |

You can edit your save-game to make those changes happen. You don't need to start over when you edit the .cdb in My docs/PCM 2013/Users/Your name/Database/Solo/Your DB/your career...

1. When you create a career it also creates a separate .cdb that you can edit just like the original .cdb except it will only effect that career. And using Lachi's editor you can stop riders from progressing with the normal system and I can just edit his stats after each stage with the EXP/Form Points.
2. So yes I will have to edit his stats individually after each stage but sometimes he won't get any EXP/Form points if he has a bad day. And the stats changes will save if I do them in the new .cdb that was created with the career and not the original one.
Jesleyh just gave you the location of where that new .cdb would be located.

Excellent stuff! Cheers for your help....such a friendly bunch! Mresuperstar you will be getting some credit on my story! Honestly wasn't going to do an individual story like this just because I kept putting it off thinking it may be too difficult but this has inspired me to at least have a crack...
With the wait for patches and fixes and the Tour De France starting I also have a chance to build a back story which I always enjoy doing...oh another quick question, when you were doing the track racing what version of PCM was that!? Everytime I do one everyone is in their national team colours...I want them in other ones?! Any idea? |

I did the the track on PCM10, and you can change their jerseys the same way you would change other teams jerseys. I think the location is cyclist/cloth/team/n(country initials). So the USA track riders would wear the jersey in cyclist/cloth/team/nusa. Hope that makes sense.

Ha not really pal...sorry! In yours they didn't seem to be wearing national team colours or were they?! Basically I want to put some track cycling into my story but when I upload pictures I don't want them to be off me racing in national jerseys because that isn't the level my guy is at in my story so kind of need just random jerseys?! |

Could this finally be my first victory after my return?
I have always been great against the clock,
in fact I have never lost a "Race of Truth" in my career yet.
--- *** --- *** --- *** ---
35kms in San Jose with a uphill kick towards the end.
It's a bright sunny day and I'm out of the start house as the last rider to go.
I'm feeling great and my time proves it as I'm the fastest through the first check.
Some great roads around San Jose made my ride a lot more enjoyable.
And before I knew it I was making the climb up to the finish.
I was very surprised at how many people turned up to cheer us on.
What a ride I was having, I could now see the 2nd "best" rider
who started 2 minutes in front of me.
And I continued my streak of dominance in the time trials.
My first victory back! Not only was Bissell noticing my great results in my return,
a few other teams approached me after the race and shook my hand.
Looks like I could get multiple offers for the 2013 season if I keep this up.
The maximum I could receive after a stage, 3 EXP and 5 Form.
A win with 2 second places after 3 races would make that possible.
The next race will be a mountain top finish on Mt. Diablo.
Spoiler
My training is now in your hands for the rest of my career.
After each race I can receive both EXP and Form Points.
EXP is a permanent stat gains while Form is temporary (the next race/stage).
A maximum of 3 EXP and 5 Form can be rewarded after each stage.
After any stage I receive EXP or Form points
you guys get to decided where I put those stat gains to use.
All you have to do is comment on which category you want
1 of the stat gains to go (Ex. Mountain, Sprint, Flat, etc.)
The EXP points are used up first followed by the Form.
Each member can only say one category for themselves.
And it will go until all the points are used up.
If you have any questions about my training, leave a question below.
It looks confusing at first but it's rather simple,
and this will be the only method for me to progress talent wise.
