Welcome to the 2013 edition of Le Tour de France. A tour with 2 big favourites. Chris Froome and Alberto Contador. Everyone knows one of them will win. So did the ASO. They decided that the other cyclist are not allowed to participate, so we can have a battle between Contador and Froome.
Alberto Contador:
Chirs Froome:
MAY THE BEST CYCLIST WIN!
Spoiler This is my first story-attempt ever after doing some UCPCL-reports (check PCM12:Story Games for those). I was having some 'crazy' thoughts yesterday and tried to play Le Tour with only 2 cyclist. And somehow it worked! So i decided to do a story about 2 cyclist battling in 21 stages for the victory. A GC-battle between Alberto and Chris. I'll use the 2013-DB by Atlantius with the 2012 route, because I couldn't find the 2013 version for PCM11. JC Peraud will be my control rider, riding behind Alberto and Chris. Settings: Hard, Random fitness off etc. etc.

This looks cool. I think Contador will win because of his higher hill, and recovery stat.

@ fcancellara: I hope not! Thanks!
@ welker3257 & admirschleck: Thank you!
@ jseadog1: We will see!
@ The Rider: Thanks! Your eyes are still working! I'll use JC Peraud as a control rider (unless someone wants somebody else)

I don't think Froome is worse then Conta in terms of mountain stat, but I guess it's your choice. Good luck, a unique idea

These are the stats of the 2013-DB by Atlantius. I did not modify anything.

Thanks
I've decided to change the stats a little bit. The most important changes:
Contador: 82 MO -> 81MO, 82ACC -> 81ACC, 83FTR -> 82FTR
Froome: 77TT -> 78TT, 74FTR -> 73FTR
Also, i ran some tests and everything (flat, mountain, tt) works perfectly. They attack, follow, chase and sprint. I'm happy! The control rider has no influence.

STAGE 1
PRE-RACE
Alberto: The prologue. I start behind Chris, so I have the best papers to win!
Chris: A time-trial. I'm better in time-trials, so the victory will be mine!
The first one off the ramp is someone from the local television. He is allowed to do a report about today's stage.
And this is the official start of Le Tour des Deux Cyclistes. Chris Froome may start first.
And Alberto Contador is the last one to start.
The local cyclist gets out of the way because Froome is arriving. His time: 8 minutes and 16 seconds.
Contador finishes in 8 minutes and..........16 seconds. We need to calculate the exact times.
Stage:
Rank | Name | Time | 1 | Chris Froome | 8'16.456 | 2 | Alberto Contador | 8'16.782 |
GC:
Rank | Name | Time | 1 | Chris Froome | 8'16 | 2 | Alberto Contador | s.t. |

@ all: Very close indeed. I made the milliseconds up, but Froome was ranked in front of Contador.
Stage 2 up tomorrow (hopefully). Also, incase somebody wants to know. The Victory classification counts the number of victories and the Jersey classification counts the number of 'jerseys' (leading in a classification) a rider leads during the race. They replace the Youth and Team classification.

STAGE 2
PRE-RACE
Alberto: An uphill finish. I'm better in the hills, so the victory is mine!
Chris: I'm in yellow, so Contador will atack to get me out of the jersey. He will waste a lot of power doing this, so I'll have the better papers in the final kilometers.
198km to go
The smallest number of cyclist at the Grand Départ ever this year. Only 3 riders arrive at the start, with only 2 riders participating. The third rider is someone from the local television to do the commentary.
155km to go
No attacks in the first part of the race. Alberto Contador (Green jersey, because leader Chris Froome wears the yellow jersey) takes the first mountain points of this year.
147km to go
However, the riders do sprint for the second mountain sprint. Contador is a little bit faster.
103km to go
But no power is necessary for the Spaniard to grab the third mountain sprint
81km to go
Can you see the difference? Alberto just wins the intermediate sprint without actually sprinting. Froome lets Contador do all the main work today.
58km to go
They take it easy today. Contador wins another mountain sprint and may wear the polka dot jersey tomorrow.
10km to go
I think we are heading for a sprint-Ã -deux today. The green jersey rode in front the entire day. The yellow jersey took it easy, probably saved up all his energy for the final climb.
5000m to go
It's not a long time to go before we start the final climb inside Seraing. Who will win the first stage?
3000m to go
It's going uphill, and Contador accelerates.
1500m to go
Contador still leads. Froome is wheelsucking, but he doesn't seem in trouble at all.
1000m to go
Contador still leads, but Froome comes out of his wheel.
800m to go
Froome overtakes Contador. He's flying towards the finish.
0m to go
Froome wins the first stage in the yellow jersey. He eventually gets rid 11 seconds of Contador, some important seconds before we head into the mountains.
Stage:
Rank | Name | Time | 1 | Chris Froome | 5h57'07 | 2 | Alberto Contador | + 11 |
GC:
Rank | Name | Time | 1 | Chris Froome | 6h05'23 | 2 | Alberto Contador | + 11 |
Points:
Rank | Name | Points | 1 | Chris Froome | 57 | 2 | Alberto Contador | 54 |
Mountain:
Rank | Name | Points | 1 | Alberto Contador | 4 | 2 | Chris Froome | 1 |
Victory:
Rank | Name | Victories | 1 | Chris Froome | 2 | 2 | Alberto Contador | 0 |
Jersey:
Rank | Name | Jerseys | 1 | Chris Froome | 6 | 2 | Alberto Contador | 1 |
