@NTTHRASH: They aim to make pro tour within 2 years, after that the'll aim for World no.1. This will take a while since I only intend to transfer young riders under 25. We'll see if that'll work out.

Cool idea! I love using U25s, and I hope Kelderman picks you next season. Wink

Kelderman! Grin

Yeah, good luck with this! Iam is a nice team.
Won't you use Haussler for the cobbles though?

Btw Cancellara should really be a transfer target when you enter WT, even though he's old...

Jesleyh: As he's currently my best sprinter I'll use him as a sprinter for Team A. If hes not racing at that day he'll do the cobble races as well.
Having planned my season and only got up to 60 days so those couple days won't matter much.

Race Scedule is done. Training Plans are written... I am ready to start the season! Banana

Hope you get all the wildcards you want. No ambition for the Tour, though?

Ian Butler: Just realized that now. Seems like there was some problems wimporting my full season plan into the game. Wildcard for Tour is requested, but I don't count on either the tour nor the giro this year. But you never know Wink

fcancellara: I'll have a look at them Cool Thanks for the heads up!

I'll skip this race since it's a complete joke.

Yeah, thats the way a lot of smaller NC's went with me too. Attack early on and no Team has the numbers to catch you.

No Tour de France for IAM Cycling this year. (21.01.2013)

Bad news for IAM Cycling today. The newly formed swiss team won't be able to compete in this years Tour.

Michel Thétaz, founder and CEO of IAM SA (IAM Investment Funds) was not somber despite this disappointment:
“We of course understand the dilemma the organizers face. They receive endless requests but have only a limited number of spaces. Don’t forget that we didn’t exist before the beginning of this year. Despite our belief in ourselves and desire to succeed, we have not managed to catch enough interest from the ASO. We respect their decision and will redouble our efforts to be included in the line-up in the coming seasons.”

The Team just finished their pre Season training camp and are now heading to Argentina. In two days their Season will begin with the Tour de San Luis. Despite the bad news today the team morale is very high and the squad is eager to start their first tour as a team.

Sad to hear about the missed wildcard, but that gives the team a chance to concentrate on other races Wink

Stage 01: San Luis - Villa Mercedes

i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r798/areolys/pcm12/sl1_03_zps8cc334eb.jpg

Todays stage is rather flat, so we will most likely see a mass sprint at the end. The perfect opporturnity for Heinrich Haussler to bring back our first victory? We'll see...

Nothing much happened in this stage. The breakaway group never got away too far ahead, so a mass sprint was inevitable.

The IAM sprint train worked perfectly. Giving Haussler a perfect setup to win the first stage.

And he did! With about 2 bike lenghts he won the first stage today! Hopefully it'll be the first of many to come.

(sorry guys, I couldn't save the replay to get some screenshots. Frown But next stage will have some for sure!)

Just a tip, It is easier for some people to take screens with Ctrl-T and then to find them in documents/pcm12/users/username/screens so you could try that. Also a nice start in San Luis and a nice team choice Smile

Thanks guys for your support! This will keep me going :-)

FroomeDog99: As I'm using Steam I can just hit F12 and the screnshots are saved. But thanks anyway for your tip.

fcancellara: Thanks, I really try to present my story in a nice way with a good layout. Smile

TOUR DE SAN LUIS 2013
Stage 02: Tilisarao - Terrazas del Puertezuelo

i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r798/areolys/pcm12/sl2_03_zps4836caa9.jpg

Welcome to day 2 in Argentina. Todays stage is another flat one, with a little hill just before the finish line. We'll see if it's another day for the sprinters or if a puncheur will slip by them just before the big sprint. We are also looking forward to see if Heinrich Haussler will keep his leader jersey.

i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r798/areolys/pcm12/2013-05-10_00003_zps8433db17.jpg

It took quite a while before any serious breakaway formed. Finally a group of 5 formed who made it out of the peloton.

i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r798/areolys/pcm12/2013-05-10_00005_zpsf7035458.jpg

The breakaway of 5 containing Lund, Felline, Kiendys, Ávila and Dehaes slowly gained minute after minute. The gap grew up to 8 minutes until the peloton finally decided to wheel them back in with just 100 Km to go.

i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r798/areolys/pcm12/2013-05-10_00004_zps99803ebd.jpg

20 Km to go the peloton increased their pace once more. Mainly FDJ and IAM pushed the pace to catch the breakaway. But would it be enough?

i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r798/areolys/pcm12/2013-05-10_00007_zps639ac300.jpg

It would. With just under 10 Km to go the sprint trains flew by the 5 runaways.

i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r798/areolys/pcm12/2013-05-10_00009_zps3f426723.jpg

With the high pace of the peloton another mass sprint was inevitable. It was Favilli who made the start with a very early sprint. Giving Pelucchi the chance to launch Haussler for the second victory in a row.

But they made their bill without Ventoso who came out of nowhere to take the lead! This is going to be close one! It's... Ventoso! He lifts his arms and celebrates! Haussler comes in second. With just a few centimeters short.

i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r798/areolys/pcm12/2013-05-10_00010_zps353b5571.jpg

But wait a minute... Here's the photo finish... No! It's Haussler! Haussler wins by a few millimeters!

i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r798/areolys/pcm12/2013-05-10_00012_zps6e60499b.jpg

What a finish! And what a race. Incredible race by IAM who, on their second race ever won their second stage. Gratullations to Haussler. He's in top shape and keeps the orange jersey another day.
