The Crits Series is staying in Benelux, as the "Nederlands Wielerdagen" will be held by the end of March.
We may meet a lot of riders, that raced the Belgian Crits, even though there's no more cobbled races here in the Netherlands. Still, five days of fast circuits should entertain the people anyway.
R1/ Wateringen
R2/ Simpelveld
R3/ Heerlen
R4/ Maastricht
R5/ Valkenburg
3 flat and 2 hilly stages this time. The race promoters decided to cancel a fourth flat in Stiphout, in order to add the two races for the puncheurs.
The "Wateringse Wielerdag", "Rabo Ronde Heerlen" and the "Ridderronde van Maastricht" will give the sprinters (Theo Bos, again?) a couple of chances to score high.
The best ist saved until last: the Series will conclude with a criterium in Valkenburg, including a finish-climb up the famous Cauberg (the credits for this stage go to Pellizotti2, who shared his work with me)! It's a foretaste of the Amstel Gold Race, early in April, and hopefully, the Series will be decided on this finish.
14 Teams with 5 riders each are invited to this Crit Series. Most of them will come from Netherlands, obviously. The initial plan is to also invite teams from Belgium, plus 1 for Luxembourg.
All PT/PCT/CT managers are able to nominate their riders. If many managers want to nominate riders for a specific country, I will try to form a well balanced team with riders from several teams.
The maximum average is 72,99. This will secure that mainly these riders will participate that don`t get many chances to ride on their own in other races.
Two teams will have the chance to start as their own (dutch) team: UPC Boehringer and Project 1t4i (but it depends on the count of total nominations and will be decided once those are done).
So, the rules for nominations remain the same as usual: all managers with eligible riders (from Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) can nominate up to 5 riders (in order of preference). While we will balance the teams as fair as possible.
The number of dutch teams is not yet decided. Depends on how many riders will be nominated. All those managers, who have 5 Belgium or Dutch riders, feel free to nominate for a "full team". It ain't guaranteed though.
You have time to nominate your players until Monday, 25th of March, 10:00 CET.

I figure I might as well try to to nominate 5, since there isnt going to be a Luxembourg round - to give my riders a chance of doing something other than ride for Kirchen in the hills, Schinker in the sprints, and have Clesen going in all the breakaways! Would be nice to have Einsle go in as leader for a race for the only time in the ManGame, rather than Kirchen getting to lead here having led teams previously before his stats decline
Einsle, Kirsch, Claerebout, Jungels
Hofland

@Rin: yes, you are
@roturn: thanks! More preview-screens will follow, as always.
@SN: would be nice to have two Luxembourgish teams, indeed. Depends on total nominations though, but as Team UPC and you have been the first to nominate full teams, you may hold good chances! Btw, i would accept 'special alternative' shirts for the Crits. That said, i must admit, that i love both UPC's and Jaguar's jerseys
EDIT: Vesuvio, ofc

Well the Luxembourg link is Vesuvio, not Jaguar. If there's space for a Luxembourgish team then you could bring back my team jersey from a few seasons ago - when the Luxembourg company Accumalux were the lead sponsor rather than a Volcano: https://www.pcmdaily.com/shirtdb.php?g...mp;team=77

Yep, the Jaguar/Vesuvio-mix is sometimes confusing edited while you answered.
And thanks for the link!
