Team isn't really impressive in TDU, maybe that could change in the next stages...

I hope Rogers can do something on Willunga Hill, or Davis gets a great sprint in a stage in which Goss, Greipel etc. fall

If Goss&Greipel fall, then Veenhof will take it. Also if only Greipel falls Wink
It's an insult that you mentioned Goss, but not Veenhof! Pfft

EARLY
Due to an little error in the planning, Domino's Weekly couldn't be released on sunday. Instead, this edition is released on thursday. We are deeply sorry if this has caused any inconveniences. We will promiss next edition will be on sunday again.

THIS WEEK
Well, there hasn't been much racing in the last 5 days. 2 stages in the TDU and 2 in the Volta ao Algarve. Dennis van Winden managed to get a seventh place in the first stage in Algarve, but that's it. Davis grabbed some points in the TDU and Rogers finished in a respectable 13th place in the 5th stage. However, Francesco Chicchi had to abandon. We feel very sorry for him.

MINIJERSEY
Bikex (manager of TAP-Michelin) was so kind that he made a small jersey picture for ecery team, including our team. So here it is: i1309.photobucket.com/albums/s635/Bikex/UCPCL%20Icon%20Jerseys/Dominos_zps9709079d.jpg
We thank Bikex very much. We will use it in our Weekly from now on

Every week, a rider of the Domino's-ASR team will be crowned as 'Rider of the Week'. Also, a second and third place will be announced. Last week we asked this question:
Danny Pate became Under-23 World Time Trial Championships in 2001. 2 of our riders participated in that years Elite Road Race. Only 1 person arrived that day. Which rider?
Jesleyh said it was Danny Pate, Bikex named Michael Rogers. Both of you are wrong. It's Karsten Kroon. He finished in 83th in the Elite Road Race (maybe you misread that. So the new rankings:
RankNamePointsAttempts
1Bikex12
1Jesleyh12
2Atlantius1

So, the next question, everyone can still join in:
Danny Pate his first victory on the road was the American Under 23 National Road Race Championships. The father an uncle of one our riders won the Elite Road Race Championships multiple times together. Which of our riders can be very proud of his father and uncle?

i1309.photobucket.com/albums/s635/Bikex/UCPCL%20Icon%20Jerseys/Dominos_zps9709079d.jpgINTERVIEWi1309.photobucket.com/albums/s635/Bikex/UCPCL%20Icon%20Jerseys/Dominos_zps9709079d.jpg

This week, an interview with Dennis van Winden.

Hello, Dennis. Congratulations on seventh place.
Thank you very much.

How are you feeling about that stage?
From the start I wanted to get into the breakaway, but I failed. Later, some other tried to sneak away. I joined them and reached the first breakaways. We rode together until the finish line, in which some riders were better than me. But still, m 5th in the GC and 3th in the Young riders classification. I'm happy

You are currently co-leading the Rider of the Year standings
I know, but I probably won't win it. I'm happy I can ride races and get good results. Danny Pate is probably better than me.

Good luck for the next of this season
Thank you very,very much

The weekly news of Domino's-ASR Cycling Team, released almost every Sunday

i1309.photobucket.com/albums/s635/Bikex/UCPCL%20Icon%20Jerseys/Dominos_zps9709079d.jpgNEWSi1309.photobucket.com/albums/s635/Bikex/UCPCL%20Icon%20Jerseys/Dominos_zps9709079d.jpg

BACK AS USUAL
We're back!! Now as usual at sundays. Last week, we released our magazine at Friday due to vacation of our manager. Our manager has returned now, so we can release at sunday again.

THIS WEEK
The manager was away, and afterwards he became ill. But luckily for him, replays excist. Some people rode into breakaways scoring some points, and we somehow managed to lead the team classification in the Tour of Oman (where they almost forget to include us Smile). Peter Stetina managed to grab a third place in the third stage in Algarve and finished second in the points classification and third in the mountain classification.

DANNY PATE GAME
We decided to cancel the Danny Pate Game. For the third edition, we only had 1 participant (Jesleyh). He answered the last question correct (it was Peter Stetina), and therefore we decided to give him the victory in the Danny Pate Game, since he is the only one who participated in all 3 questions. Congratulations Jesleyh. We'll be back with something new next week.

This week, an interview with Peter Stetina.

Hello, Peter. Congratulations on your performance in Algarve.
Thank you very much.

DId you expect anything?
I went into the break, hoping that we could reach the end (as the previous days), but I thougt the peleton would catch us. But they didn't, so I could finish third and grab a lot of mountain and sprint points.

You are currently co-leading the Rider of the Year standings
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS, thank you very much. With who?

Danny Pate and Dennis van Winden
OMG, OMG, OMG. I'm equal to Danny Pate. OH MY GOD, i have to call my mother, my brothers, my father, my uncle, everyone I know and everyone I don't know.

*Peter leaves to phone cell*
*Interviewer yelling at Peter*
Come back, I have some more questions
*Peter does not react*

Maybe next time?
*Peter got out of the HQ running to the nearest phone cell*
*Interviewer chases him, but collides with a lamppost*

OUCH

THIS WEEK
Not much to say actually, Simon Clarke finished 6th in a Oman stage and we were present in some breakaways.

RANKINGS
We are last in the CT rankings with 873 points. The number 1 has 13965 points. We are more than 13000 points behind. Therefore the staff and the fans are very sad and want our riders to peform better. That will probably happen, since Danny Pate's season will begin this week.

This week, an interview with Simon Clarke.

Hello, Simon. Congratulations on your performances this week.
Thank you very much.

How are you feeling about your sixth place in the queen stage of the Tour of Oman?
It's great. But I didn't do it alone. Matthew Lloyd did some great work for me.

You are currently co-leading the Rider of the Year standings
I know, and i'm not going to run away to the nearest phone cell because i'm co-leading with Danny Pate.

But what happened in the fourth stage in Qatar
Yes, all six of us finished six minutesd behind the peleton. We don't know what happened

Good luck for the rest of the season
Thanks

THIS WEEK
2 stages in Langkawi, nothing extraordinary happened.

PIZZANEWS
We haven't talked about him since a long time, but we thought it is time to give some news about everyone's favourite pizza, Pizza. Pizza is a bit sad, because our team is not performing very well. But he still has hope and he loves his team. And he hasn't been attacked

TDF SQUAD:
In this and some next maganizes, we will reveal our TDF squad. The first rider is already sure of his place, because he is (well, behind Danny Pate) the best rider of our team. He will be our leader. He hopes he can shine in the TTs and the mountains, but we don't expect him to win. His name:
