Welcome to this little competition, graphic artists.
In the following thread (https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....d_id=28008) we've been discussing the possibility of changing that old banner. We came up with the idea of organizing a little competition between graphic artists.
Everyone can make a banner and send it in. In the end, there will be a big consensus, a poll, to decide what banner will be the new banner of PCM.Daily, the old banner will also be included, for those nostalgic people.
For those interested, the current font of the banner is Visitor BRK.
The format of the banner is 1.024px × 110px
The reward is honorable for any graphic artist: your work up there for everyone to admire for months, years...
The deadline is yet to be set, but you can already start if you'd like.
Good luck, and hope to see your work up there for who knows how long!
EDIT: Deadline is 04/02/2013.
EDIT 2: Final Version(s) are to be PM'd to me by the deadline.

Perhaps it should be added that the dimensions of the current banner are: 1.024px × 110px

Of course the banner will be chosen if they are good enough in first place to replace it remember No certainty the old banner will be replaced at all.

Nice idea and nice one Froomedog. Imo in the new banner there would still be a sprint fight (now maybe with Cav, Greipel and Sagan) it would be very nice! |

Anyone any idea about the deadline, how much time should we give the artists? FroomeDog's already done one
I'd say about a week or so? Deadline the 4th of February? That sounds fair?
