Hi! My name is André Cardoso. I'm a cyclist who currently riders for the spanish Pro Continental team Caja Rural. After 5 years riding in my home country, Portugal, I signed with Caja Rural, with the goal to get detected by a ever bigger team. My biggest dream is to ride a Grand Tour and this year I have chance to do it. In this blog I will talk about my preparation for the Vuelta. Need reserve posts to post the team and my calendar.

I'm one of the team's leaders in terms of General Classification's. I'm a pure climber, and my manager told me that I would lead the team in the Vuelta a Espana. That's my goal for the season, to finish in the top 20 of the Vuelta.

A schedule primary made of Spanish races for the preparation for the Vuelta. I'm gonna start racing pretty late, during the beggining of March. The biggest preparation race for the Vuelta is the Vuelta a Burgos. A hard race, which I'll take apart has one of the team leader's, beeing that the most important preparation of the season.

You race schedule is looking very interesting. With a good preparation you should be able to finish top20 in especially when others are more exhausted having 60+ race days before the start. |
