A new challenge awaits Wilhelm as after proving to be a good domestique in the first two races of his career, the team invites him to join them in Paris - Nice. On the other hand though, frustration is starting to crawl into Jakob as he continues to only be able to watch his younger brother and perhaps this will start a fire burning in him, much like his brother had when they were young.
Paris - Nice is of course an 8 day race, starting with a prologue, the riders go through a few days on the flat roads, getting a day in the hills before another couple of days for the sprinters before a finishing timetrial going up the Col d'Èze.
This looks very interesting; I will absolutely follow.
I think you should continue reporting the way you are doing right now. Your last story was good, but it was not detailed enough, I think. This way it is still easy to follow and meanwhile you get to know more about their riding and development.
Jakob finally gets his chance to ride for the team in three very prestigious classics. The only problem; they have cobblestones. Riding on the cobbles is certainly not a strength of either Jakob of Wilhelm. Saxo Bank would send Jakob out to work as a teammate for Nuyans over these cobbles perhaps only to get Jakob a chance to be in a professional peloton.

While none of the days were spectacular just getting over the cobbles and his first races done with is a victory for Jakob. Now I'm sure he will be more than happy to have this part of the season over with and move onto more suitable terrain for him. Younger brother Wilhelm has still been in more races and a few stage races, Jakob has now at least participated in and finished three UWT races, more than his younger brother (though Paris-Nice obviously has several stages). At the end of the day the team promised to have a nice surprise for both of the brothers.
