Sondre
Hi, I tried installing Pro Cycling Manager 2006 on my Windows 7. But after restarting the computer after installing the starforce driver when autorun the game it pops up that the starforce driver cant be installed. I am running windows 7 in boot camp on my macbook. I cant play newer PCM games than PCM 2006 on my mac because of the grapich. Also, I need help to play PCM 2006 on Windows 7.
Thanks for help.

Cyanide released a later version of PCM 2006 without the starforce protection. I have this version (named "Silver edition - Collection sport" ) and you can try copy these files to your folder to get it work. It should solve the issue.

New problem, this time ingameWink (i dont know if it's answered some place, but none off the riders has any names:/(over there heads, of course) and i 've tried highest and lowest setings, so it should be any problems with my graphic off windows 7?

Normally, you just have to press 'Tab' to make rider names appear but you may have tried I suppose. I have issues too with in game graphics from my ATI (AMD) graphic card. Sometimes left menu goes all white and I can't see riders bars (stamina, ...), the bars come back from time to time. I have set shaders to 0 in game options and it seems to decrease the occurence of this issue but the game looks awful. I strongly think to reinstall xp just to run this game.

i've also got a problem with circles
under ther riders and when i press æ only my team get a blue circle, is this related to win7 or graphic card?https://imageshack.us/f/337/pcm2012011...42684.jpg/

yeah, it may be a combination of graphic card and windows 7 issues. I had no issues on windows xp with PCM2006 whatever the graphic card I had. I have issues with my ATI HD5670 under win 7. I will try with integrated intel HD in coming weeks. I have no more NVIDIA card for testing, maybe it's better. However you can try many tricks with success or not: run game in windows xp sp3 mode (exe file => properties), try decrease shaders in option menu. I have no good advice for this issue yet since I encounter issues like you.

After several tests, I have found the following setup to run PCM2006 in windows 7 without any graphical issue, just make right click on game shortcut or pcm.exe file and set as following:

No more need to have a dual boot with windows XP to run PCM 2006... Cool

If under win 7 or vista, you have still black shapes instead of game panel:

You have to move the camera angle to restablish the game panel. Just press 'Alt' or 'Alt Gr' from keyboard + Left click and move the mouse (to the left or right):

Just for AMD (ATI) users, I rolled back my drivers to 11.6 and the graphical issue has changed: black squares were removed but some text is now all white but game is playable. This is a screenshot:

And of course, moving the camera (as indicated above) worked to remove this graphical issue. But even without this tip, the game is now fully playable under windows 7.

AMD 11.6 Catalyst drivers (32 bits Vista/7) can be found here: https://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload...sta32.aspx
This is the link for 64bits Vista/7: https://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload...sta64.aspx

These drivers worked for me for AMD HD6310 (E-350) and HD5670 (And furthermore I recovered some older games which were also unplayable with new AMD drivers).

Are you sure that you haven't turned it off accidentally. Press the TAB key on your keyboard.

You're my hero ! Works now on windows 8.1 ! Thank You so much

QlercQ, this topic was a bit old and permanent fix has been found. I would suggest using these fixes instead of rolling back drivers since it could bring issues in other games. See there: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....d_id=28013

if anyone still having problems with PCM 2005, I made the changes with the xml files (setting all sea=1 to sea=0), just extract this file into your CM_stages folder and it should be okay, i hope. took me 2 hours
