Tour de San Luis - Stage 1
Kami
(Something went wrong with my replay, and it showed nothing except for the rider names, so stage 1 will just be a written report.)

The first stage is short and flat, so most sprinters should have enough energy to sprint. The favorites are Serebriakov, Greipel and Haedo.

A break of 11 riders forms at the foot of the first climb; Engoulvent, Schorn, Hayakawa, Rovira, Andersen, Perry, Armstrong, Vink, Bobridge, Anacona and O'Loughlin. They all know that the first one on top of the climb, will wear the KoM jersey for a day.

When we get near the top, their are indeed attacks. It's the young Australian Bobridge who takes it in front of Engoulvent and Andersen.

Bobridge also win the first sprint. This time in front of E'Laughlin and Engoulvent. At this point the break has 6'20" advantage over the peleton, so with 80k to go it will be hard to make the finish.

They did still make the second sprint. This time Schorn wins it in front of Rovira and Hayakawa. They only have 3' left now though, with 40k to go.

With 7.5k to go, they get reeled in. It's time for a mass sprint. 2 notable train form:

Train 1Train 2
Monsalve Tolleson
Murphy Haedo
Serebriakov Ulanowski
Borghesi Haidar Anuawar
Greipel
Gatto
Guillen
Loddo
Briggs
Valverde

The Hollister train (Train 1) has more speed though and takes the upper hand. Tolleson has run out of energy and is only on equal height of Loddo when the sprint starts.

As soon as the sprint starts, Haedo goes and he comes fast, brining along Ulanowski. Hollister gave Serebriakov a perfect lead-out though, and blasts away from the rest. He wins with about 2 bike lengths. Haedo still finishes a strong second, had he been closer when the sprint started, he would have won.

In 9th place we got a surprise; Valverde. He seems to be in good shape!
