I will try to makes some stages this year also. And I'm starting with a quite optimistic project, a Tour variant. I don't know if I have time to finish, but at least I will start.

Stage 1 -- Millau ITT
I'm no wizard so I can't recreate the real viaduct 
Stage 1 is a ~45 km ITT which starts in Milau, continues on a climb up to the famous Milau-bridge, then some highway miles before the decent to Milau.

I have thought about the length of the stage and that it might be to long for the first stage. But it is my variant, so I should be able to create the route that I want |

Stage 2 -- Millau - Ganges (Puech Pointu)
Stage 2 starts the same way as the ITT, before me move further east to Ganges. The stage has 5 categorized climbs, the climb up to the Milau Viaduct (4), Col de la Serreyrede (2), Col de Peyrefiche (2), La Puech (2), and the final climb to Puech Pointu (3).
Col de la Serreyrede descent
Finish at Puech Pointu with Ganges in the background.

Stage 3 -- Castries - Beziers
The route continues alongside the Mediterrenean, and a lot of wind is expected.
The profile is almost completely flat, besides some hills in the end, and a slight uphill finish. Towns visited: La Grand Motte, Sete and Agde.

Just as the last stage we continue on the coast of the Mediterranean, all the way into Spain. The stage is fairly flat, except from the hills on the coast of Costa Brava.

Stage 5 -- Tossa del Mar - Manresa
Just as the previous 2 stages we continue along the Mediterranean coast, and pass by many small seaside towns. When we reach Barcelona we turn north towards the cities of Sabadell and Terrassa, and then Manresa. The stage is fairly flat, but a small hill at the end might cause some problems for the best sprinters. This is the last flat stage before we hit the Pyrenees.
