Whats up with me having to activate my game each time I reinstall it... PCM is a game that you have to reinstall a rediculous amount of times because of databases.
So why do you have to use up all my activation codes the first month I have the game?

So why does it say that I have 0 activations left?
They did it all near perfect last year with the early option of downloading and installing the game before getting your activation code on the day of release. This year it's back to the same old mess you expect from Cyanide and Focus |

If you write to cyanide (best would be letter from same email what you used when you bought the game)..and tell your story. They will give you new code.

I if reinstall the game with the same computer and type the same activation again, will I have only 2 activations left or 3?
Thank you. |

You'll lose one every time you do that.
So don't do it. Just delete the pcm folder, delete the appdata folder and delete the pcm folder inside "my documents". Then install the game again.
This way you'll still be using the same activation

Or, use the uninstallation file, but when asked about deactivation, click Cancel. |

Actually, I just un-installed and re-installed the game the way I used to with PCM08, so as not to lose an activation.
I lost an activation.
Does it work this time?
btw, issoisso, that's one crazy video. |

If I wanted to instal the game on a computer without internet acess would that be possible with the activations?

Ofc, I understand what he said and what I have to do now (didnt`t read this before I reinstalled) just making such bugs is beyond my understanding...
Protection will be nuked in a few days anyway, so tryin to make something "more secure" and all they get is making paying customers not being able to play game because they have to send them mails all over again and wait for keys (not everyone is aware about this site) is really **** |

Or do a backup of the original installation and when you need to reset it, you don't need to uninstall. That's what I'm doing.

I'm 95% certain when I was putting in my activation code that there were some other options for registering.
I remember thinking that it would make it easier to crack. I didn't look at the options though... |

About the activation. The activation code will be saved in the registry. So start REGEDIT and search for cyanide. Then save it. You will get a registry file which you can use after you installed the game again.
Like this you can deinstall and install 10000x.
How to save the registry:
Right click on the folder called cyanide and select export (or how it is called on your computer). Now select a save place (outside the PCM folders).
How to re-registrate:
Just double click on the registry file you just created. |
